I really want to like the place. I’ve been here six or seven times and every time the waitress is rude. She makes it feel like I am the least important thing she’s seen in quite a while.She doesn’t even say you’re welcome when I say thank you to her. Let alone thanking me for my patronage of her restaurant. The food is mediocre and the prices are high. If you want to be treated like you don’t belong, this is your spot. Come on in. Plenty of room.

So I always try to find the local mom and pop places to eat when I am exploring the areas I travel to. I am usually very impressed with the places, but not this time. To start, I did see the review that said they only accept cash or checks, so I made sure I had some cash before I went in…who even writes checks anymore, but I get it, CC charge service fees. Was greeted with, I won’t say completely rude waitress, but certainly not friendly and gave me the impression she hates her job. Yelled at me for bring in my water bottle stating they don’t allow ANY outside drinks in this place…I mean, it’s just my water bottle that I carry everywhere. So I put it off to the side and ordered a glass of water cuz I don’t like Pepsi products. Got a bacon burger(1/4lb) which ok it was bigger than the bun, but I wasn’t expecting it to be that flat, and idk, can u see the 1 piece of folded bacon there? By the time I took 2 or 3 bites, the burger became fatter than the bun. Pretty much no flavor, fries were ok, but definitely frozen, not fresh.
As far as mom and pop places go, this one goes on the bottom of my list of places to come back to, I think I would had better from the McD’s next door and I haven’t eaten fast food for over 5 yrs..DONT BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE

Wasn’t really sure what to expect when we waltzed up to this cute diner. Very old-timey decorations and a simple menu. Food was as to be expected, nothing crazy delicious but a dependable breakfast. Waitress was attentive and took care of us well!

My parents and I tried this place out as my parents were heading back home after moving me in at Ellsworth Community College (this was back in August). Waitress knew we were there but didn’t serve us till like 20 mins later. The restaurant is more worried about their regulars than newcomers. Would not recommend unless you wanna try to be a regular to get service right away.

BLT and fries were substandard. No one greets guests promptly and some menu items were not available. Disgusting basement and very musty bathrooms. Didn’t even get a waitress name and no one checked on me. Don’t even bother going here as locals don’t want out of state visitors inside. It’s also cash only.
