If you get the opportunity to spend an evening with them, you will not be disappointed. The care and skill that goes into the preparation of the food, and the warmness of the environment make it an amazing experience. Scout is just the icing on top. The spice levels of the tomato soup were spectacular, and the sea bass melts in your mouth. Best bass I’ve ever had.

Went to celebrate a friend’s major birthday milestone with a small group of friends. It was a nice alternative to a standard restaurant in that it was a small, intimate setting and the food was very good.

We love gathering a group of friends (and wine) and going out to the Red Rooster Barn. Gregory and Lydia are amazing and always provide the best culinary experiance, a warm welcome and a hug are always on the menu too! We have gone to Red Rooster several times over the years and also they provide Private Chef services which is awesome for our annual Adult Chrismas Dinner, it is always a special treat and we look forward to having them in our home and vising the Red Rooster Barn as often as we can. if you haven’t been out there for this dining experience I highly recommend you go!

Gregory and Lydia create an amazing and unique experience that is beyond expectations. I love hearing the “We found Gregory” stories at the beginning of the evening as a testament to Gregory’s culinary artistry that it’s a badge of honor for how long we have been following Gregory across multiple locations. Lydia is the “hostess with the mostest” making everyone feel welcomed and everyone’s glass is filled. I love the their playlist too! I can’t speak to the times I haven’t been there so it might just be me but spontaneous sing alongs are possible. Scout, (is an element I didn’t realize I needed in my dining experience) is a part of the welcome party, we miss having dogs so we love getting to show him some love. Gregory is magic! He can make even the foods you might not like into something you could eat every day. I am not a fan of watercress at all and his watercress soup was amazing! My husband has a pretty high standard especially for his steaks and Gregory is one of the few people who meet that! It’s a good thing they give us bread from Bresnan Bread and Pastry (equally amazing!), because everything is a wipe your plate clean perfection! We also love that they are in Anna (I know this is a negative for people who aren’t local). Being able to have this level of amazing food and not having to drive into town is an added bonus. They are also great to follow on Instagram and Facebook posting their availability and menus for upcoming dates. To say that I highly recommend is an understatement!
