Tried The Red Rooster in Hamilton and ordered the turkey caprese. The sandwich was fresh and flavorful, with quality ingredients. It is a bit on the pricey side, especially since it comes with chips, but the sandwich itself is well made and satisfying. The staff is super friendly and it is a cozy spot to get some work done.

Red Rooster has quickly become my favorite spot! Their breakfast items are so delicious and their sandwiches are AMAZING! They make their own bread and treats and everything is excellent. Yes it can be busy BUT that’s because it’s a local business and it’s THAT GOOD! The staff is always so kind as well. I would definitely recommend this place.

Went to Red Rooster a couple of weeks ago for some treats and gifts. Always get great vibes and excellent customer service!! My all time favorites here are the avocado toast and the Very Berry GF bar. Their sourdough bread is amazing and we were told their starter is 20 years old!!!

Delicious freshly made pastries and good service. Their sandwiches are also very good.
However, it’s so expensive I don’t see myself going back there in a while. A slice of quiche is $10 and any pastry that’s not a day old is $7.50. I know they have to pay their staff a living wage, but I bet they have the most expensive baked goods in the Bitterroot Valley.

Maybe landlords should start lowering their rent around here so people can actually make a living with reasonable pay, therefore allowing for reasonable prices. Just saying.

Hopping spot for lunch and coffees.
Pros: Nice sized menu and extensive bakery including bread loaves. Staff were nice and working hard. Popular with locals. Cute outdoor seasonal seating.
Cons: prices, wait time, uncomfortably crowded. I’d pay $7 for a baked bar treat if it was inimitable, but it wasn’t. This isn’t BigFork yet. Unique cash pricing menu with added charge if you use card. Waited 15 minutes for an overly sweet 12 oz mocha, all the while trying to avoid being in people’s way while I waited. Awkward.

Delicious food, drinks and pastries! We live locally and are so grateful to have this wonderful little restaurant in Hamilton. It’s our #1 favorite spot to stop for a coffee drink, pastry or lunch. While I was pregnant my biggest craving was their chicken salad sandwich and house salad. I also love their cream puff pastries. Most of the menu items seem to be made fresh from scratch, which can’t be said of most other restaurants in the area. It is a small restaurant and can get very busy at times (for good reason), so we avoid busy times and always call ahead if we are picking up food in their drive through. We love you Red Rooster!

Wow! I lived in Hamilton for two years and I can’t believe I never stopped in here for a meal or a coffee. The eggs Benedict are the best in the Bitterroot Valley, the carrots cake is delicious and the coffee is great! It’s a great local coffee shop with very reasonable prices. I would go here again, and I will definitely be stopping here again when going through Hamilton!

If you have a large event and want a variety of yummy desserts along with custom cakes, I recommend ordering from Red Rooster. The quality and size of each dessert was definitely a hit at our party. Owner Gabby Stamper is so easy to work with and her crew packaged every item professionally and everything was very fresh. From cake pops, cream puffs and coconut macaroons for the kids to lemon bars, 7 layer bars, mini cheese cakes, red velvet cupcakes and more for the adults to custom cakes for my hubby and granddaughter’s milestone birthday were perfect. Free delivery to local customers is a plus! And providing coffee and hot water in insulated dispensers was another service I utilized and the price was very fair! Thank you Gabby and crew for all the hard work in helping me create an awesome candy and dessert bar!!!
