Food was great. My wife and I are vegan and I had the vegan egg benedict and my wife had the vegan polenta plus fries, coffee, and orange juice and everything was so good. Service was amazing and friendly too.

Red Rooster off Walker in Oklahoma City was outstanding. Kassy, the manager, took incredible care of us and made great recommendations.

Her suggestion of the fish and chips was spot on!…..easily the best in Oklahoma (maybe even Texas!). Perfectly crispy, tender, and flavorful.

We’ll definitely be back!

We arrived right when they opened. Promptly seated and water served. Hostess and waitress were both super pleasant and inside was clean and orderly. We ordered the charcuterie board for an appetizer and brisket and chicken fried bison for the entrees. Everything was AMAZING!!! We have absolutely no complaints AT ALL. Everything was melt in your mouth. Charcuterie was so flavorful. Mashed potatoes were creamy and the meats were full of flavor. Highly recommend this place!!!

First time coming here! Can’t wait to come back!! The service was absolutely incredible- Cassie the manager went above and beyond for us! Very personable & accommodating and made me feel very safe about my food allergies (celiac & allergic to all peppers, mushrooms and spice allergies) Alley our server was beyond sweet and attentive! They ran out of fish & chips so we will definitely be back to try them!

If you have celiac like myself definitely check this place out!

Upon first impressions, the restaurant is a smaller, more intimate setting, so voices carry and echo all over the room. Not too much of a problem. The trout dip was pretty good, and I liked their sea salt chips.

Being gluten free and not being able to enjoy fish and chips in a restaurant for well over two years, I was excited to try it after seeing other raving reviews. I LOVED the fish! The thinly sliced potato “chips” left something to be desired. They weren’t at all crispy.

My mom really liked their current seasonal dessert, something with lemon and orange in it. I tried their gluten free strawberry lemonade sorbet and liked that, too. It has a fresh, natural strawberry tartness to it, like they made it there in the restaurant. If they do, props to them.

We spent almost $90 just my mom and myself, but I’m sure we will be back to try something else!

Red Rooster in Oklahoma City is one of my new favorite spots, especially because they offer so many impressive gluten-free options—which is rare for comfort food. I was thrilled to find that they serve gluten-free versions of classics like chicken fried steak, fish and chips, and a fried chicken sandwich. It’s clear they put real effort into making gluten-free dishes that don’t taste like a compromise.

The fried chicken sandwich had a perfectly crispy coating and juicy chicken. The only thing I’d change is the amount of garlic—it was a little strong for my taste—but overall, the sandwich was still really flavorful and satisfying. The chicken fried steak was crispy, tender, and comforting in all the right ways, and the fish and chips were equally good with a nice light crunch.

The chai old fashioned was a standout cocktail—unique, smooth, and balanced, with that subtle spiced flavor that worked surprisingly well with bourbon. The atmosphere is warm and modern without feeling pretentious, and the service was friendly and attentive.

Overall, Red Rooster delivers creative comfort food that’s inclusive and delicious. I’ll definitely be back to try more gluten-free favorites and another round of that chai old fashioned.

We absolutely love this restaurant. It is our special occasion restaurant. They are always kind and accommodating with my food allergies and suggest things, change things, and are always so kind about. The food is top notch quality and so delicious as well.
Cassie takes care of us or at least takes time out to care for us when we come in.

Not sure what the major malfunction was last night, but it did take 25 minutes to get an extra water glass. We asked 3 different people for a total of 4 times. The cocktails were lacking and the checks came out wrong. The bright notes were the house chips, the chicken fried bison, and the dessert that forgot to get a photo of. Espresso ice cream on bread pudding. Maybe go on a night that isn’t first Friday art walk. Enjoy!
