Stopped by for lunch on a Friday. It was super busy and had a small wait for somewhere to sit. The food was solid bar food but the service was very fast and friendly. Kudos to the staff who were working hard but we also very friendly. Cash only but there is an ATM there.

Went in for a cheeseburger and not only was the price cheap but the it was excellent. The bartender Crystal was very attentive and took great care of us. I will be returning in the future.

We stopped on the recommendation of a friend that there was “really good food”. I think the food we had confirms my friend has quite poor taste. We were overall underwhelmed.
The hamburgers were overcooked, dry, flavorless, and the buns were dry as well. The fish sandwich was also very dry and bland. The chicken sandwich was ok. All the fried food (fries, cheese, rings, and poppers) were what I’d expect as typical, unremarkable bar food.
If we were talking about the food, only, this would be a 3 star review. However, due to the ‘gentleman’ that was overbearingly loud, using excessive cursing and obscenities with every other word…and the bartender almost encouraging the behavior we most assuredly will NOT ever return.
You’ll get better value from Culver’s on 42/57 without the hassles of parking, cash only, and asinine customers.

We have been visiting Door County for over 40 years. The past few years we have been spending a bit more time in Sturgeon Bay. That being said, the Red Room has fast become our favorite stop. The service is unbeatable, owners & staff are very welcoming & pleasant. The food is terrific! Maybe the best bar food we have ever enjoyed. For us anymore, any trip to Sturgeon Bay is not complete without a stop at the Red Room, for lunch or just for a cold beer. Thanks for being such a welcoming place! A corner bar at its finest!

Owner Nick was friendly and attentive. Perfect dive bar for a good beer and a great burger. Open since 1949 and owned by 3 generations of the same family, You can feel the pride in the ownership of this establishment. The posted photo of the menu is the ONLY menu available at this bar… the additional menu that is on Google is not accurate so disregard this one. Stop in and have a beer and some bar food it will be worth it! We will return for sure!

I recently visited the Red Room and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable, with a juke box and warm lighting. The menu had a great selection of classic pub fare, as well as some more unique and creative options. I particularly enjoyed the cheese burger, which was perfectly cooked and accompanied by delicious sauteed onions. The cup of chili was delicious as well. The service was also top-notch – our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, making recommendations and answering any questions we had. Overall, I would highly recommend the Red Room Bar and Grill to anyone looking for a casual dining experience.
