A group of friends decided to try out Red Rock on a recent trip to Madison. It was late at night and during spring break, so the restaurant was not as hopping as it would be on most Saturdays. The food and service were great. We tried a number of appetizers and entress. Each was fantastic. Our server was attentive and efficient. I had a Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was very good. In our party, they tried the BBQ Mac and cheese and burgers. It is definitely worth a visit.

Went on a Saturday night for dinner and drinks with friends. We got there around 7pm and it was not busy. We were immediately seated in a booth.
The service was excellent. Our server was friendly and quick and was knowledgeable about different types of cocktails.
The atmosphere was okay. The floors were very sticky in places, which was gross. The ladies room was dirty, and had a clump of wet dirt and hair between the bathroom stall partition and the wall. The lighting was way too bright in the booth. They turned the lights down a little later in the night.
The food was pretty good and came out quickly. The drinks were very good. I ordered a ranch water with Patron and extra lime, and it was perfect. The drink specials were great. They had pints of craft beer for $2, which I was not expecting. They also had a wide selection of beers on tap.
I had a good time. The drinks and the service were great. Not sure if I will go back though.

New location is an absolute upgrade. Love the two different floors here. The whole vibe changes when you go upstairs. Night life is busy and a lot of fun. The staff is what makes this place so amazing though. Just got to try their new menu, and I was very impressed as it was all delicious. Make sure to stop here if you haven’t yet. There is even a bull ride you can try out.

We planned a bachelorette night at Red Rock and they did not disappoint ! I called ahead to plan and Dani Farr made sure that the bride-to-be had a night to remember ! Our night was filled with so much excitement and laughter ! They even shouted the bride out at the end of the night and added her name to the inside board ! All around great time and amazing staff !

Came in on a Friday and there were a few open tables. We were seated right away, but then waited a bit for our server to arrive to order our drinks. They took enough time to arrive that we started wondering if someone forgot, which was odd because our table was 4′ from the bar area. That may have been the first sign.
As for the food, I ordered the wings and although the wings were small, there was no ranch, carrots or celery on the plate. I asked our server for some ranch and after 10 minutes of not seeing them return, I walked back near the kitchen area to ask someone coming out if they could get me some ranch which they kindly did. The wings tasted fine as did the chicken tenders that were also ordered. However, when the bill came, there were some extra items on our bill besides what we ordered (Two people in our party 2 meals, 2 soda is what we ordered). The bill showed another meal and also two drinks. I asked our server about the error and they were going to correct it and return. However, our server was not around for at least another 10 plus minutes. At that time, we decided to just leave and pay for the food that we had ordered and were served. Our server was very friendly and there appeared to be plenty of staff, so I’m not sure what the issue really was.
Red Rock Saloon was probably more deserving of a 2 star review on this visit. Their food was okay, and the issues we had were due to the no/slow service, which can easily be corrected. They also have a mechanical bull, so that is worth an extra star just by itself.
