A Sturgill Story
We went for a birthday party on Dec 23rd, there were a surprising number of birthday diners! We were a group of 10 with a reservation. The waitress was pleasant, she took a group photo for us and the food didn’t take too long to arrive. The kids enjoyed the free games on the tablets at the table. We felt forgotten when it came time for our check is the only complaint.

It was easygoing the staff were wonderful heck weaving gave a piece of birthday cake to one of the waiters that we had because my sister had her birthday and they kindly did the happy birthday song like any other time they would do and it was really nice atmosphere

It’s a Red Robin. My fiancé with celiac and I always go to one when we travel because we know there are good, safe options and the food is good. The atmosphere and decorations are also always fun to look at.

Volleyball team came in for dinner on busy Sunday night, and Cory went out of his way to accommodate seating for all 25 of us. We even added extra people at the last minute and he was flexible and gracious. Our server, Kylan, was excellent and efficient. He did a great job of taking orders and matching up players with their parents, even though we weren’t all sitting by each other. Food was delivered promptly and correctly, and we were amazed to have received such quality service with such a big group. Highly highly recommend.

Worst service ever. Got drinks long after apps. Drinks were wrong. We were told they would fix it, they didn’t. Asked for chip refill didn’t get it. Re-asked for chip refill and daughters mac and cheese refill. They made our refills to go so we would leave I guess. Still no drinks fixed. Then when we paid the waitress moved the payment thing and pulled up a survey and asked us to rate her highly and gave us her name. I was shocked. Who does that? Makes many mistakes, never fixes them and then asks for a high review and explains why it’s important we do that for her. She watched and I just sat there stunned. Finally she left and I did no survey at all. Wish I could get our generous tip back. Unbelievable

Completely erased my last review and reposting new. Significant improvements have been made over our last several visits. Today, our taver burger was hot, the veggie toppings were cold, crispy and fresh and our waitress was accommodating and friendly. A couple forgotten things from our special order instructions but overall soooo much better of a dining experience. We had also had the boneless wings for the first time and the garlic parm flavor was really good. Thank you for making the improvements. We will see you again soon and hoping for you and your goal to attain excellence.

I recently had a large group here for a birthday dinner and the wait was a bit over 40 minutes due to a few other large groups that had arrived before us. I didn’t mind waiting though because the food was well worth the wait. I ordered the bottomless Garlic Fries and the Jalapeño Heatwave Burger with ranch on the side. Everything was delicious and everybody left full and happy. The waitress was great with us and we will be back again in the future!

The menu has something for everyone’s taste. My go to is their riblets. They were so tender They fall off the bone and the taste is excellent large variety of foods, the prices are good for the amount of food you get. The burgers are very tasty too. They have fish and chips that are great tasting.The.food I got was delicious. They are juicy and the flavors are outstanding. Unfortunately, the staff were very confused. Twice, I was given someone else’s food. The experience was very good.

We received outstanding service from our waitress Julie. The restaurant was very crowded and our wait was excessively long, but Julie quickly served us with a smile. She took our order and brought our drinks.
Only disappointment this evening was the gentleman who appeared to be some sort of a manager or person of authority. He was not wearing a name tag. He brought our food, our dip for the French Fries was missing, we asked for the dip, but the man was too busy listening to the voice in his headset. He said he’d bring our dip, unfortunately we never got it. Sad.
BUT, Julie came to the rescue, immediately brought our dip and refilled our drinks and bottomless sides. Truly excellent service from Julie, she deserves a raise and promotion!
It was very distracting the employees of this establishment singing the birthday song every 5 minutes. Our party was having a very sensitive discussion about serious work matters and it was very displeasing to our ears listing to the other patrons of this establishment chanting, singing and clapping. The bathrooms were clean. The parking lot was crowded. Very close to the interstate. We have a very important meeting tomorrow morning at 8am, having mostly great service and good food so close to the hotel was delightful.
Please ensure Julie knows she did a great job tonight, and make sure your supervisors are better trained to serve the customer, who is ALWAYS RIGHT.
Thanks, John Smith

I am an exhausted mother of two tiny children, working overtime and going to online university classes, who ordered a meal for pickup at 6pm (in advance). We live 5 minutes away, and my husband waited for over 20 minutes to get our food (even though someone who came in later got their food beforehand). When he got home (after a 5 minute drive) all of our food was ice cold. He called to complain, and the lady who answered the phone said, *with attitude, “did you see the reheating instructions on the bag?” So I took the phone and asked if it was the policy for us to reheat the food we picked up, because if I was having to cook I would’ve just gone somewhere else. And, admittedly, I used a swear word (though not to insult her, just for color because I am exhausted and she was rude). She hung up on me, and then I called repeatedly because, like I said, I am exhausted and stressed and she did not de-escalate the situation. No one answered my call. Finally I spoke with a manager, who also did not do anything but offer an “I’m sorry”. I told him I did not even feel he was genuine and asked what customer service training they received and he did not reply. I am a manager, and if one of my employees was dealing with someone at the end of their rope at the end of the week and upset, they would put them on hold and come get me. He offered me a gift card, but when I asked if we were just expected to reheat food that we picked up on time, he was evasive. If they would have just apologized for making me do extra work when I was planning on trying to relax, and apologized for serving my little children ice cold food, things would not have escalated. Do yourself a favor, drive the extra fifteen minutes to the Woodburn Red Robin. If they ignore and disrespect a working mother who works over full time serving a vulnerable population, they will not be respectful to you. You deserve better.
