I was planning to tip over 25% of total but with the service we had and not getting refills or stuff we asked for, the percentages kept dropping. Still gave over 12% though on my tab.
& If I knew I was going to get charged $3 to get them to sing happy birthday to my son, I would have just bought a dessert cake versus a sundae. Cost was never mentioned. THEN to find out it’s complementary from Red Robin…
My son liked his kids burger.
Very sad about the fish and chips, $18 for rubber texture no flavor fish was planning to take it to go since that was $18, but what will I do with it? Other than give it to animals, it was not good at all.
I don’t recommend this location.
For all of the TVs that they have, it’s never been too loud to enjoy a meal with my wife. Good drinks, good food every…single …time.
I love a good chicken sandwich, but a chicken teriyaki sandwich might be a risk at other places. I ordered one today and it was exactly what I expected. Not too sweet, not over the top. Fresh toppings and hot juicy chicken.
And don’t get me started about the bottomless fries and strawberry lemonade.
I’m happy we came here and happy that we drew Mya in rhe server lottery.
The young lady greeted me and proceeded to acknowledge my birthday with taking my order, Double, Double Cheese Burger, fries, short stack onion rings, and a chocolate shake.
Out of all the other years, this location made my birthday burger special with a lit candle.
After making a wish (or two ) than blowing out the candle, I indulged in the goodness of my meal and shake.
If all the other locations would make a customer feel as special as they made me Red Robin Gourmet Burger would be where everyone should be celebrating.
SN: Special hugs to the waitress and cook
Red Robin, seating customers based on server convenience rather than family needs is embarrassing. I asked the other lady that showed us to our table why they couldn’t give us a booth as it was clear to me there were at least 6 unoccupied booths. She replied there were no booths available. No explanation to why.
Marcus, our server, was an absolute lifesaver! He explained that we could transfer to a booth, but he’d have to coordinate with the other server since he wasn’t assigned to that table. Even in the middle of a clearly disorganized seating system, he handled it with genuine friendliness, a big smile, and a can-do attitude that made a stressful situation far more tolerable. Honestly, if anyone deserves recognition for making Red Robin look halfway competent, it’s Marcus.
The food itself was great, as usual, which is the only reason we keep coming back. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left such a bad taste in my mouth that it made it hard to fully enjoy what is normally a reliably good meal.
Marcus was the only reason we didn’t completely hate our visit. If you want to call yourselves family-friendly, maybe start by actually being family-friendly—and by recognizing employees like Marcus who try to make it so.
We order of eighteen onion rings, two burgers, strawberry lemonade, and an ice cream shake. It was all good but the lemonade was not very sweet as it used to be so I added some sugar to it and it was perfect. May not return because the hamburger patties could be thicker as shown on the menu and the coleslaw was terrible.
