Red Robin has a variety of appetizers, entrees, sandwiches, salads and cocktails. But he are are best known for their burgers of which there are many different kinds to choose from, as well as their bottomless steak fries. The atmosphere is fun and family friendly and they are located near shopping at St. Clair Square.

I came in hungry and left just as hungry. I ordered the chicken wings and they were a major disappointment. The skin was soggy instead of crispy, and the coating was so weak that you couldn’t tell the Buffalo from the Garlic Parmesan just by looking at them. The side sauces were also low quality and didn’t improve the experience.
I tried to eat some of it, but it was bad enough that I ended up throwing the entire order away.

Onion rings were awesome, my hubby had a great burger and I had a so so chicken sandwich. Overall not bad, but next time I go I’m definitely getting a burger.

Always been a fan of Red Robin, great burgers, good drinks, unlimited steak fries. Tried the new Jalapeño Heatwave burger today and loved it. Had plans on getting the Bleu Ribbon until I saw that, absolutely worth trying. I have a ridiculous tolerance for spicy food, one of those idiots with a cabinet full of hot sauces and who eats Carolina Reapers and scorpion/ghost peppers whole, so this was mild to me but others loved how “hot” it was lol.

I stopped by today for the free Veterans Day meal. The wait was not too long. I love that they text you when your table is ready. The staff is friendly and professional. Love all the different choices of food on the menu. The food tasted great. Love the atmosphere of this restaurant.

The place was buzzing with activity. Waiters and waitresses carrying orders constantly and they still were able to get to us quickly, get us seated and ready to take our order in just a couple of minutes. And everyone was smiling. Bright vibrant decor and the place stayed clean even with all the activity. I tried the Southern Charm with regular steak fries. Once I tasted it, I completely forgot what my wife had except her garlic fries. . It was loaded with candied bacon, whiskey River BBQ sauce, caramelized onions, cheddar and more. And they kept bringing fries which are bottomless for most options. The fries went very well with the choices of sauce that you can get and they were all delicious as well. With tons of food options, delicious food, a clean restaurant and very friendly employees all here you can’t go wrong.

Update 8/13. Another family outing here, on a Sunday. Seated immediately. Food was fresh. Everyone loved everything.
Added a couple more pics. 2/17/24. My bonsai burger had a giant pineapple tonight. I don’t know if they changed buns, tasted a little different, but still loved it.
4/8/2025 went again this past weekend. Added another bonsai burger pic. Prices have creeped up a bit. Service was very good.

We absolutely love this Red Robin location! Even though we have a Red Robin about 15 minutes from home, we gladly drive 35–40 minutes to Fairview Heights every time because the experience here is light years beyond. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, but what truly sets this location apart is the incredible staff. Recently, we’ve had Nia as our server, and she is an absolute rockstar—friendly, attentive, and always goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Justin is another standout team member who delivers amazing service every single time. Honestly, the entire team here makes dining such a pleasure. This location has become our go-to spot because of the welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service. If you’re looking for great food and an even better experience, Fairview Heights Red Robin is the place to be. We’ll keep making the extra drive—it’s worth every mile!

We arrived as a family and were seated immediately, which initially seemed like a good start. The restaurant was not very busy. Unfortunately, the area we were seated in had a light that continuously blinked, creating a strobe-like effect that was extremely uncomfortable—especially since our daughter was not feeling well.
We asked to be moved and ended up changing tables twice because the light continued to be an issue. What stood out most was the explanation given by the staff member who moved us. Instead of a simple apology or proactively avoiding seating guests in that area, we were told, “Oh, it’s just management. We’ve had this problem for a while. It doesn’t matter how many electricians we bring in—we can’t get it fixed.”
That response felt dismissive and unprofessional. Employees are the face of the company, and openly speaking negatively about management to guests—especially while acknowledging a known problem—does not create confidence in the restaurant. If this lighting issue is well known, guests should not be seated in that area at all, particularly when there are many other tables available where the problem wouldn’t impact the dining experience.
We ultimately asked for our food to go. The waitress who packaged our meals did a very good job, and the food was prepared and packed nicely. However, by that point, the experience had already been negatively affected. Regardless of how good the food or service might have been, the lighting issue—something that could have easily been avoided by thoughtful seating—was detrimental to our visit.
This situation had a simple solution, and unfortunately, it was not handled well.

Great gourmet burgers! Service was great. Great spot to get burgers and appetizers for the family. They have a good kids menu. Free balloons for kids too. Appetizers were good also. Been here a few times now.
