Our experience was amazing! We had to wait for 30-40 minutes, ended up being a little longer which is expected. Because of our longer wait, the manager said we could get two appetizers on them, and three staff apologized for the wait. It was no big deal! The food was great! The staff was great! We’ll definitely be back!

We have been a loyal Red Robin customer for about 15 years, and it has always been my son’s favorite restaurant.
He is currently a US Marine stationed in Okinawa and recently came home for a few days to celebrate his birthday. Naturally, he chose Red Robin for our family dinner.
Despite a 30-minute wait, we were excited to be there. I personally spoke with a staff member to explain the situation—that it was his birthday and he was home from deployment. One staff member promised to coordinate with our server to have the team sing to him; I even saw her relay the message to our server.
However, the night ended without a single mention of his birthday or his service.
As a former waiter, I understand a busy floor, but to have a coordinated request completely ignored on such an important occasion was deeply disappointing.
We left feeling let down by a place we’ve loved for over a decade. It was heartbreaking to see my son’s “welcome home” meal go unacknowledged after 15 years of loyalty.

As a first time customer to this location, the manager stopped at our table welcoming us with bottomless fries with dipping sauces. Very nice service! Our server Kyli was amazing! Food was delicious!

Prior to my personal experience here at Red Robin, I’ve had friends and family have bad experiences 3-4 times consistently. Simple orders incorrect on many occasions. Lindsay the general manager, does not follow her word. She says whatever she can to get you off the phone. Connor I believe his name was, the kitchen manager also does not follow through. They advertise a free app when you sign up for rewards. I wanted to place an order and take advantage of the offer. Their website wasn’t working (again) so I could not register. Before placing an order I called the store directly and spoke to Lindsay, the manager. She said she would happily refund the difference when the order was received. Called back to confirm with Lindsay I was charged the full amount. She assured me it would be credited back “immediately”, then it changed to “about 1 business day” Connor the kitchen manager told me he put an IT Ticket in because on their end they show the refund, convenient. No update, and no refund! It’s more of a hassle at this point chasing down these incompetent “managers” that simply can’t correct their mistake. Food here is so overrated & overpriced. Don’t waste your time or money at this dump. To both managers – do better. If I would have saw the reviews regarding food poisoning and bugs in food before ordering, I wouldn’t have ordered here EVER.

Our waitress Nancy IS THE BEST! My husband, friend, and I (group of 2, sometimes 3) frequent RR in Appleton often! Whenever we are assigned with Nancy as our waitress, she is always quick, attentive, caring, and top-notch! No other waitress/waiter/even hostess comes close to the exceptional services provided by Nancy! RR in Appleton should be thankful for having Nancy as such a spectacular team member. Today my husband and I had decided to go get lunch from RR after about a 2 week hiatus due to poor service we received from our last visit. I was still very hesitant and resentful holding a grudge against the establishment however, I’m glad we went there for lunch today because due to the wonderful experience and service we had received from Nancy today, both my husband and I were very happy with the visit outcome. Management for RR in Appleton and Corporate needs to realize that this review is our way of thanking Nancy and giving her an our biggest SHOUTOUT!

Tasty food and calm atmosphere. Not super busy and got seated right away. My server was Sarah and she was very attentive and kind.
A note about the food: if you don’t often eat high fat foods and want to feel what colonoscopy prep is like, I recommend the branded BBQ burger. Tasted great though.

Not so good experience today at lunch. Ordered the burger deal and asked for our sides first (2) one came and one did not. It was brought to us by a different server than the one who took the order. My friend got hers and was almost done with it by the time I flagged down our server. She said that mine would be a bit longer, well it came with the meal. Never came back to ask how we were doing or if we needed refills. Again, we had to flag her down for refills. Stuff happens but when we went to pay the bill it was WAY MORE than what we ordered. Not sure we will ever be back.

We went out to dinner for Veterans Day as my husband is a veteran. We were seated right away and soon our server Julia was at our table. She was very friendly and very efficient. They were offering a free type of burger for veterans and it was done perfectly. I had blackened salmon which I wouldn’t call blackened as it lacked any spiciness or blackening. It had a nice taste anyway.
Service Manager Lindsay stopped at our table to see how we were enjoying our meals. She couldn’t have been sweeter! Even though I didn’t complain she still deducted something from our bill. We will definitely be back and ask for Julia to be our server and of course to check in with Lindsay! Great place and great people, we recommend it!
