Ate at Red Robin today. We hadn’t been to the one in West Des Moines for a long time. The service was really good, thankful for our server. The burger I got (banzai) was really good, my wife’s chicken was ok. We were confused with the fries. The first batch we received didn’t have any seasoning, the next batch did have seasoning. The biggest issue we had was the amount of gnats that were around us while we were eating, we had five by us.
Still good food, just not excited about the gnats.

We haven’t been to Red Robin in years. I am glad we stopped today. I was in the mood for a burger but I am not a fan of brioche buns and I asked the server if they had other options. They don’t and she asked me why I didn’t like and I told her I find it sweet. While we were deciding she took the time to have a bun toasted and brought it for me to try before I ordered. Who even does that? great customer service. THe burgers were very good. Cooked perfectly, and came out piping hot . Briana needs a raise

We visited memorial day weekend! Food was great! We ordered the onion ring tower with the BEST RANCH I’ve ever had!! All 3 of us ordered burgers. They came out perfect! We’ll finished our meals and eneded with milkshakes! Absolutely should have a higher rating

I had to report that the building was on fire…
Soooo, today was my first time going to Red Robin and I only went because I had a $10 reward. I figured it’d be a nice treat since it’s my b-day month.
I ordered ahead online and picked curbside pickup, but when I got there, there were no indicators of where “curbside” parking should be. I ended up going to the side, but it’s connected to Chase, so parking was limited. I decided to park on the backside instead since the parking wasn’t too bad there. I called the # provided multiple times and kept getting an automated response that wouldn’t connect me to the actual store.
I’m guessing that was divine timing/intervention because my partner and I decided to go inside to get the order instead and when we looked up, THE BUILDING WAS ON FIRE! Like out of nowhere!!! I had to RUN into the restaurant to let someone know because no one else was really out there, and the ones that had been when we first arrived had already walked inside at the front of the building. The employees are 100/10 here! The person I told at the front counter reacted quickly. Give all the workers today (on 7/12/25 at like 11:50am) a raise because they were running to put it out! Ultimately another guy had to rush to get the fire extinguisher before it spread and ended up putting it out from the roof while the others helped him find the direction of the fire, called the fire department, and set off the alarm to help evacuate people inside.
I’ve never been in a situation like this ever, so I ended up leaving with my takeout order after making sure the fire was out, but I’ll definitely never forget this.
Other than that, the food was pretty decent. Not sure if I’ll be going back though unless I have another coupon lol. Only giving the atmosphere a 1 star because the building was literally burning and that’s terrifying… I can only imagine how the people inside felt.

I had not been to a Red Robin for many years. Not that they were bad, I just did not live near one. The staff was very pleasant so no issues there. The restaurant was clean. I ordered the Whiskey River Burger. It tasted like I remembered but the burger was smaller. There only a handful of fries. I will chalk it up to changing times. Would I go again? Yes but I am not will to drive out of town for it unless I had other plans.

We showed up at 11:08 today and were told by another family outside we all were going to have to wait another ten minutes. When we finally got inside, there were at least two tables of people sitting in the bar being served. The manager was cussing about being short a staff member for the bar when trying to find which section to seat us in. The family that warned us of the late opening got up and left before we had drinks in our hands since no one had been to their table since seating them. The manager walked around to take orders and almost missed another table that had been waiting if it weren’t for me pointing them out to him. Food was ok. Just a step above McDonald’s quarter pounder. We stopped going here years ago and today was reminded why. We will not be coming back.

This was the 1st time going here after it’s been open for around 20 years. Very good hamburgers. Server was fantastic. The chips are worth getting. The parking lot is a little weird, it’s in the back and you have to walk around the building.

We dined here for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The waitress was polite, friendly and prompt. Our seating was clean, our food was hot and our food got to us super quick. Everything was delicious. The shake I got was just the perfect amount… A LOT. The bottomless fries are always a plus. The burgers are super juicy and delicious. You won’t go wrong ordering any of them.

My wife and 3 kids show up there for my birthday since it’s my favorite place to go. We live over an hour away from it so it’s a drive to get there. We get there and stand at the podium for about 7 minutes. 2 people came after us and were seated. We weren’t even spoken to. Never even got a chance to sit down before I decided I’m not going to let them treat my family and I like that for 1 more second. Acted like we didn’t even exist. Will never be back to this location or any other Red Robin’s for that matter.
