Restaurant was not super busy. Service was good. My daughter ordered a shake, and the ice cream tasted a little sour. Everything else was great!

My daughter loves Red Robin and requested it for lunch. It’s been years since I’ve been here and I remember it as a bustling place with good food and service. Sadly today was a vastly different experience. Initially, I was disappointed in the atmosphere; the restaurant seems dingy, torn seats, sticky tables and doors. There were about four- six tables of people throughout the time we were there and, I believe, two servers. Our drink orders were taken after about five minutes. After that we waited about 25 minutes for our server to return to take our food order-she walked by our table several time without acknowledgment, she finally acknowledged us and said she’d be right back-that took about 10 more minutes. Finally our food arrived after we had been at the restaurant for over an hour. The chips were stale and soggy, the fries were cold. The main entrees were warm. We had seen a few tables around us come and go and receive food before us. We do not need to talk anyone to make this “right”, we simply won’t be back and don’t recommend this as a good option.

I’ve eaten at Red Robin’s in the past, but not this one in Des Moines. At the host table, We were told 15 minutes, 30 minutes later I asked how much longer and she said 45 minutes. We were about to leave and then they seated us immediately because we were going to cancel. I am all for having people with challenges and needs to work in a restaurant, but the host is a very crustal role in a restaurant, and sets the tone for the entire meal. Food was cheap quality, as expected. Our server was great, but clearly the only server in the whole place. I don’t know what’s going on, maybe you can’t keep your staff. Find out why, and fix it. This place is on its downfall. I liked the ability to pay at my table with the tablet, and unlimited fries is always a plus.

Seemed understaffed for our Saturday evening visit. Table service was speedy once we got seated. We had to check with the host about our table. Turned out we had somehow been removed from the wait list. Food was fine. Definitely not worth the hour wait, however.

The food was really delicious! I like the sauce on the burgers.. You have to get the Pretzel Bites.. I will everytime I come back. The staff was nice. The restaurant was clean. It is a little more expensive.

Had lunch with my toddler and our experience was less then acceptable considering the price. My son is 1 and then sat us at one of those tiny tables knowing I refused a seat. We ordered the whiskey river BBQ wrap and an additional side so he could have fries, said this specifically as I didn’t expect to cheat the system for free fries. Well… I got 1 “serving” of fries. It was 18… 18 fries (we count for teaching). I had to flag our waiter down even though he walked past repeatedly seeing we were out for another order. I guess RR got stingy on the serving as this batch was about the same amount. I was looking for him again for another batch and to order a shake…. welp, he did come back with the check. I was mid bite so couldn’t say anything as he dropped it off as he walked by. I waited to find him to ask for what I needed… I ended up get a container form the host and cashing out. Won’t go back. Being from Oklahoma there are many RR chains and one of our favorite places to go so this was incredibly disappointing.

Our server, Rick did a phenomenal job!! He made great recommendations, my husband had the bonsai burger based on Rick’s suggestion and I had the veggie burger. Both were excellent! He was very personable and we really enjoyed our dining experience!!

Food was hot. The place smells like an old Bar. Not pleasant. Either they accept the smell of Restaurant or have issues smelling beer drink carpet. This is a huge turn off for places I prefer to eat.

Visited the Red Robin location near Jordan Creek Mall. Server was just fine, but clearly there was an issue with the kitchen as our food took 45 minutes and was luke warm when we received it. Won’t be going back to this location again anytime soon. With 2 kids waiting 45 minutes to eat is NOT a fun experience. Poor job Red Robin.
