2023-08-12: I ordered the Southern Charm Burger with an extra patty. This burger comes topped with hardwood-smoked bacon, Whiskey River BBQ Sauce, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce, and mayo. I thought the burger was pretty good, but also thought it would be more flavorful. The waitress, Colleen, was cheerful, attentive, and didn’t let me run dry on sweet tea.

So the service was great 100%. Everyone I encountered was nice. But the food was not very good. It’s in the trash the fish was soggy from the coleslaw juices . Fries were good.But the side of extra fries I ordered didn’t have no seasoning on them. The fried pickles mostly in the trash I had to pick around the ones that were stuck together uncooked on the inside. The best tasting thing I got was the root beer float. This was the first and last time I’ll be eating here that’s for sure.

The food TASTED amazing.- however, my burger was literally about HALF the size of my daughter’s and not medium rare as ordered. There were toppings and I figured perhaps it was thicker in the center and did not complain. It never got thicker and I’d ate several bites and didn’t think it fair to complain at that point (because the only way to right it would be another burger). So, I do have to admit that I didn’t give them opportunity to make it right, even when the manager made his rounds to ask how things were. It was my first time here, and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but for the price ($18+ for a burger and bottomless fries), I certainly will complain if my burger is so small again. But, the taste was so awesome that I will be back (for the$10 all burger deal. Lol).

Updated 8/2/23: much improved! The hostess was not friendly and was spacey but our server Isaiah was excellent and he had lots of tables and did a very good job. Food was served hot and correctly. Was okay but expensive. The onion rings and fries were the best part, milkshakes were very good. Fish and burgers okay but for 16-17$ each we all felt it was not items we would pay that for. If we go back we will get just the fries and onion rings! None of liked the coleslaw.

We had a great time there. It was our first time, our server Samantha was exceptional. The manager heard we were 1st timers brought a free basket of fries with 2 dipping sauces to try. He Was very nice, suggested to my husband a very spicy burger and he loved it. My 7 yr old granddaughter loved the fact she could get raw broccoli instead of steamed. I was able to have a GF bun or lettuce wrap as I am allergic to wheat. The ability to change sides on the bottomless sides offer was great to we were able to try a couple of different types of fries with some splendid sauces. The bathroom was cleaned well and they even had a sink setup for kids. If I had one complaint it would be the price but I think all the other great experience was well worth it.

I have eaten here many times and I’ve honestly never had a bad meal or a bad experience. Service was great and it was a nice relaxing lunch. I recommend trying the campfire sauce if you’ve never had it, it’s pretty good in my opinion.
