Waste of Money. I had a horrible experience with Red Robin catering. I ordered a catered salad, and when I went to serve it, I was disgusted to find small bugs all over the lettuce. Literally every portion of the salad had tiny bugs on it. At first, I thought maybe I could wash it since it’s lettuce, but even after washing, the bugs were still there. It was completely unusable.

Because of this, I had to rush to the store and buy my own salad, which was 100% better than what I received. This was embarrassing and extremely inconvenient, especially since this was for catering.

To make things worse, I ordered the salad five hours in advance, yet when I arrived for pickup, I still had to wait 30 minutes for a salad.

If a restaurant cannot handle something as simple as preparing a salad correctly, A SALAD it really makes you question what else is not being handled properly behind the scenes. Between the unsanitary food and the poor service, this experience was unacceptable.

This location was the Red Robin by Northlake Mall in Charlotte. I will never order a catered salad from here again and strongly suggest others do the same.

Our first time going dine-in at a Red Robin!

We came in on a Saturday afternoon around 0200PM.
We were seated right away. Tables were clean and our server was quick to get our orders.

I didn’t get the name of our server but she was one of the best servers we’ve had! Very attentive!!! 10/10

Food has big portions and all tasty!
Margaritas are great!
The rootbeer float was also delicious!

Will definitely come back!

I am starting to get very disappointed with this place. I go here almost weekly to order pizza. My first job ever was working for donatos when they brought the franchise to the Charlotte area. Each ingredient is weighed on a scale for every pizza (sauce cheese toppings). There is supposed to be a standard for how the pizza is made. I am finding now that more often than not I am getting a pizza with little to no sauce at all. It’s to the point you can taste the difference. I tried to think of a solution so last time I called and asked if I could note special instructions for my order and to “put sauce on the pizza”. The man said there is light regular or extra. I said regular and my pizza came out great. But I think I am going to have to specify every time I order and to put extra sauce ( I recommend you do also). I’m not sure if they are short on sauce or what they have going on. I’m disappointed spending money and not enjoying this pizza without sauce.

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We were told our order would be ready soon, but we ended up waiting for more than an hour. What made it worse was that several other customers were also waiting, and no staff member came out to properly explain the delay.

They kept saying, “It will be ready soon,”when we asked , but nothing changed. There was no clear communication, no apology, and no effort to manage the situation. It felt very unorganized and disrespectful of customers’ time.

If there is a long wait, that’s understandable ( in our case it wasnt busy at all ) — but honesty and proper communication go a long way. Unfortunately, this experience was frustrating, and we won’t be returning.

Our family of 5 stopped in for a late lunch / early dinner yesterday. We were greeted and seated quickly. Sam was our server and she was awesome! Our food came out quick, was nice and hot and tasted amazing! A lil delay on getting fries refilled but they were short staffed on a holiday weekend so it was understandable. Had sone trouble playing at the table off their little tablet thing but Sam settled us very quickly. We’ll definitely eat at this location again. Thank you for the great service!

This was my first time at Red Robin, and I was blown away! The milkshakes were absolutely amazing—creamy, rich, and perfectly sweet. I also tried the Whiskey River Burger, and it was delicious—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The combination of flavors was spot on. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was inviting. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu! Highly recommend!

I came here specifically for my son’s birthday. The service was okay. They only had one person working the floor. She was fine. She had to serve someone at the bar too. They should’ve had someone helping her with the amount of people they had in the kitchen area (i am assuming the manager was helping a little bit but he was mainly delivering food). When we had gotten our food of course we needed some extra things like mayo and ranch and we had to wait or catch someone else to get that. Also, we had to catch someone else to get more fries due to our server helping the person at the bar (which again is not her fault, it was just her).

I was also expecting them to bring out a complimentary desert and sing happy birthday to my son for his birthday (i did tell my server) so i was bummed they didn’t do it. I used to come to Red Robin all of the time for my birthday when i was a child and they would always sing happy birthday to me and give a small dessert but i guess they don’t do that anymore?

Other than that our food was good. My margarita was good.

Ms. Tee was a fantastic waitress she was very attentive to our needs and when the food was not right she stated it was alright and she would take it back. The fish was a bit oily and batter was overly brown. But I was able to choose something else which turned out to be pretty good. Jimmy the kitchen manager also came to the take to speak with me. That made me feel like my opinion as a customer mattered. I will be going back as they said they will be adding a salmon dish. My kids loved there burger and Tuscan shrimp.

The food was good BUT the service was wild. From the beginning, they made it seem like we shouldn’t come in. We came at 9 pm. They close at 10p and they said things were already packed up and we’re giving us things in to go cups and boxes. I don’t know what a reasonable time to come into a restaurant before closing but almost all the servers were almost mad we wanted to visit this establishment. We’ll know for next time not to give these people our money. I wish they hadn’t sat us because it’s wild to be treated like this
