My brother and I aren’t from the Harrisburg area. We were down there for something else and decided to stop at Red Robin since I hadn’t been in a long time and figured I’d give it another try.
Right off the bat, I ordered a chocolate milkshake and a pretzel appetizer. The server assumed I meant the pretzel milkshake, so that had to be sent back. Not a huge deal, but it wasn’t a great start. I ended up getting the pretzel bites instead. They tasted pretty good, but they were excessively oily. By that point, my stomach was already starting to feel off from the milkshake.
When our food came out, I noticed the portion of fries was surprisingly small compared to the size of the burger. If you’re serving a large hamburger, the fries should at least balance it out. I only ate about a quarter of my burger before I started feeling sick and couldn’t keep going. The same thing happened with the fries. My brother also only had a few bites of his food before he had to go to the bathroom because he wasn’t feeling well either.
I was honestly shocked that the milkshake cost almost $9. That seems pretty ridiculous. Looking back, I probably should have asked for a refund since I barely drank any of it and it made my stomach hurt, but I didn’t want to keep causing issues after already sending one back. I work in food service myself, so I try not to be overly picky or difficult.
The biggest issue wasn’t the staff — it was the food quality. The bacon on my burger wasn’t fully cooked, and the lettuce was extremely soggy. I understand that lettuce can get soft on a hot burger, but this was beyond normal.
Overall, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend this location.

We were nervous about going to a restaurant on Super Bowl Sunday, but I guess we arrived before the game-watchers. We requested a booth and were given one in the main dining area, surrounded by quiet families. Brooklyn (our wait staffer) arrived almost immediately after we were seated and took our beverage order. We were pleasantly surprised to find a wider range of choices on the menu since our last visit. There wasn’t any regular coffee available, so I opted for water, which Brooklyn brought right away.
We both ordered the caesar salad, but I opted to change to grilled salmon. Both our orders arrived together in a reasonable amount of time. All through our meal Brooklyn made sure we were satisfied. The salmon was perfect-not overly seasoned and cooked just right. We each had enough of our meats (my wife’s had chicken) to last the entire salad.
We had the option of paying at the table, but when that didn’t work Brooklyn arrived immediately to process my card.

Delicious food and great service. We had the buzz ranch chicken sandwich and the Madlovr burger, they were both amazing. The sides are not only bottomless but also very good. I’m picky about coleslaw but it was great.

Went here around 8pm with some friends and had some of the worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The food took more than 30 minutes to arrive, apparently because one of the burgers got mixed up. When our food arrived, only the person with the freshly remade burger and fries had hot food. Mine was the coldest and had been sitting out for too long. When I wanted to flag someone down to get freshly remade hot fries, the waitress was nowhere to be found. And when I did find her, she was chatting with two other waitresses just standing around doing nothing. She never asked if we wanted drink refills, we had to ask for that. It felt like we were forgotten about majority of the night. I won’t be coming back to this location.

I recently visited Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews and had an outstanding dining experience, largely thanks to the exceptional service provided by our waitress, Jill.

From the moment we walked in, Jill greeted us warmly and promptly seated us at a cozy booth. Her friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm for her job were immediately apparent. She took the time to explain the menu in detail, highlighting popular dishes and offering her personal recommendations.

Throughout the meal, Jill demonstrated remarkable attentiveness. She ensured our drinks were always topped up and checked in on us at perfect intervals, making sure everything was to our liking without being intrusive.

What truly impressed me was Jill’s knowledge of the menu and her willingness to accommodate special requests. She effortlessly handled our dietary preferences and made sure our food arrived exactly as ordered. Her professionalism and efficiency added to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience.

I have a rule that I always give a restaurant 3 chances before I leave a poor review. This was our 3rd visit to this Lower Paxton location and it isn’t getting any better and actually may be getting worse. I will give credit where credit is due, the food has always been hot and delicious. The problem is the wait from time of order until we actually received the food is horribly long. This last time it was over 30 minutes, which for burgers and fries is waaaaay too long especially when the place looks to be about 80% empty tables. What makes it even worse a pet peeve of mine. Lots of employees just standing around chatting or on their phones. This seems to be acceptable at most businesses these days. The overall condition of the dining area is not great, lots of bits of trash on the carpet and the bathroom was kind of sad too. Tonight was strike 3 and this Red Robin at this location. We won’t be back.

My husband and I decided on a whim to come here for dinner and we could not of been happier we did. Our server, Alexis was seriously the best, sweetest and most attentive server we’ve had in a long time.
Our food was also hot and fresh and my Garlic fries were the best they’ve ever been, soooo garlicky and perfect.
I cannot give enough kudos to Alexis and the kitchen staff that was on this night!

Just went in for lunch wasn’t busy but it took forever to be served and then to to pay. When I finally asked someone they didn’t take care of it they just pointed me to the bartender who I guess doubled as my server.
So I wound up having to get up and walk around to find how to pay my bill.

Their food is decent but not an option if you want to actually grab lunch for a work day. Pretty disappointed frankly.

I don’t know why I keep ordering from here. Their quality always sucks. They gave me hardly any fries (just crumbs), and they were soggy, cold and hard. The wrap was small. It’s hard to believe I paid $20 for this trash. I wish I didn’t love the poppyseed honey mustard and raspberry iced tea so much. Why is it so hard for this place to send out quality food for takeout? Do BETTER, Red Robin.
