I was finally able to make it to the restaurant from watching Mr. Chimetime’s great video review and I was not disappointed! Food here was AMAZING! The Red Rice reminds me of Jellof Rice. The sides… DELICIOUS… cornbread… fantastic. The 1st day I bought the Turkey Meal. I came back the next day and got another turkey meal and got the jerk wing meal. Staff was very friendly and service was fantastic. Next time I’m in Atlanta I’ll definitely be back!

First heard about this place via Mr. Chimetime’s YouTube video and I wanted to try it. I finally got that opportunity several weeks ago and it certainly lived up to its name. I ordered a smothered Turkey wing which came with red rice, collard greens and garlic green beans for myself and for my dad, I got him the lamb chops with the same sides. Atmosphere inside was good with many others like me ordering food to go and the service was also just as great. The Turkey wing was a guilty pleasure for me with the gravy giving lots of savory flavor to the juicy Turkey. As for the lamb chops, my dad enjoyed them noting the good seasoning placed on them. The 3 sides were fantastic. I agree that this place is a hidden gem for soul food in the Atlanta area. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting.

Where do I start! This place is about 45 minutes from my house(if there’s no traffic). I finally made the drive and boy was it worth it! I got the oxtail with collard greens and candied yams plus a turkey wing on the side. The hype was real! Everything was delicious! Very flavorful and and big portions. I also got a red velvet cake and lemonade. The cake was really good and the lemonade might be some of the best I’ve ever had. Imani was also very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be making this drive again in the near future so that I can try their other items. Definitely a must try if you live in the A!

I hate to give them a bad rating, but I just wasted my money. Everyone was friendly, and offered to make me whole… but my food was cold and bland, except the green beans (excellent), yams and collards (pretty good)… Protion size was GREAT, but….. Oxtails were ordinary and Luke warm. Turkey wing and lima beans were bland and cold… cold like it was refrigerated, and then sat on the counter til it reached room temperature… I had high hopes… drove 4 hrs… UGH

Seen this spot on instagram and been waiting to make it in. I ordered oxtails with collards and black eyed peas. The red rice was very savory not spicy but tasteful, black eyed peas and cornbread 10/10, collards 100/10 (not all salty and cut up perfectly) my first time eating oxtails meat was a lil tough and they were fatty but tasteful. Overall 9/10 would definitely come back and order something different…

Phenomenal!!! Came for a New Year’s Day meal and was greeted with a great experience and delicious food. The sides are dietary inclusive. The beans and greens are made with turkey instead of pork. Truly enjoyed our meals, will be back!

Food was great, Turkey wangs, red rice, yams, and them black eyed peas. The best plate of food I had in 10 years. The customer service from the cashiers didn’t match the food but the food definitely made up for it, we was also told we would get a text when food was ready 30 min later we had to go in and ask and it was ready just sitting on the counter, cashier asked our name and said oh your food ready. Look at my plate I cleaned it out the food was great.

This place is absolutely amazing. My husband and I visited for the first time and the staff was wonderful. Ceci was very informative and sweet. BUT THE FOOD!!! I got the lamb chops with collard greens, baked macaroni and cheese and Black Eyed Peas. My Husband got the turkey wings with candied yams and baked macaroni. The food was amazing! Both of our plates came with our signature red rice and I was amazed at how seasoned the food was. We went back the next day before leaving Atlanta. This will be a permanent stop for us.

Finally got to check out Red Rice after all these years driving by this hidden gem. Got the Baked Turkey Wing smothered in gravy with red rice plus shrimp and turkey sausage. Mac and cheese and garlic green beans. The turkey wing was kinda cold but the flavor was delicious. The gravy was finger licking good and a tore up the bones on the wing. But them sides though….. Lawd. Mac and cheese slapped and the red rice with shrimp and turkey sausage was bussin. The garlic string beans was a perfect way to get my veggie intake. All in all my experience was good. Definitely worth the visit.
