Went to Red Rabbit for my birthday dinner in August and overall had a good experience. We sat on the patio, which was nicely heated and comfortable for the evening. The food was very good and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately, our table was right next to the parking lot, and during our meal a car backed into the spot directly beside us. The exhaust pipe ended up right next to our table, and the driver—who appeared to be an employee waiting in their car before a shift—left the engine running. The smoke and fumes coming toward our table took away from what would have otherwise been a really enjoyable patio experience.

Everything else about the evening was great, but the patio seating situation made the experience less pleasant than it could have been. It would be helpful if staff were mindful of vehicles idling near patio tables in the future.

Fantastic brunch spot. The food is incredible, havent had anything that was a miss yet. Classic foods with unique, flavorful twists.

Pictured is the French toast (incredible, super decadent but well balanced), ham and cheese omelet (best omelet I’ve ever had), eggs Benedict, turmeric shot (only problem is that I wish there was more, very delicious and refreshing), espresso shot, and iced latte.

Visited this charming little restaurant while visiting St. Paul.
Overall, a fantastic experience!!
If you live in the area, consider yourself fortunate.
To start…understand parking can be a challenge, especially in the prime evening hours. So plan accordingly.
The food was awesome! We had a few appetizers; cheese curds and focaccia bread. They were hot…they were tasty and they were delivered quickly!
Our waitstaff person, Emily, was personable, attentive and emitted great positive vibes. She was great!!
The atmosphere there is friendly and energetic. Know…with a full house of customers, it can get a might bit noisy in the building, but to be expected in a popular eatery!
The main courses our party had were amazing!! Great taste. Hot. And nice portions. We all took home leftovers and they will make great snacks .
Overall…tremendous job, Red Rabbit. I can’t wait to return down the road.
Well done and cheers!!

Stopped in Red Rabbit St Paul before a Gophers BB game for a quick bite. Staff were friendly and attentive. It was warm enough inside to be comfortable without my coat or a sweater! The option of sparkling water at the table was a nice plus. A beer a piece, garlic cheese curds, beet salad and a grilled cheese with tomato soup. Everything tasted very good, and I generally don’t like cheese curds. Parking mid-week at 4pm was no issue in the free lot. Would I come back? Yes; enjoyable experience plus there are a few other things on the menu I’d like to try.

Our first time here, we’ve been meaning to try this place out for a while now and I’m glad we came. Our server was great, he took great care of us, very informational on the food, drinks, and dessert, he didnt miss a beat. Wished I would have gotten his name – but he had long blonde hair that he put up. The food all came out at once, obviously we asked for the appetizer to come out first, we had no complaints on the food, everything wad delicious. We left home satisfied with everything. Only thing that my husband complained about was the parking lot – kind of small and if it became busy, you’ll have to park elsewhere.

No wait, sat outside on their beautiful patio! Staff were attentive and helpful. Cavatelli was absolutely phenomenal! You can taste the love in each bite.

The meatball sandwich was delicious as well! Loved the touch of pesto with it. Melted to perfection to say the least.

We will be back!

We sat at the bar and had a great time! The wait to get a table on a busy Saturday was going to be two hours, but a bar spot was open and we got served right away. Food was great – nothing crazy unique but solid flavors and good portions sizes. My partner and I both finished our plates and felt pleasantly full. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and the bar staff were all super helpful and attentive. A great stop in St. Paul, would definitely recommend.

In the past month, I have been to this Red Rabbit on two separate occasions. It was quite a delicious experience both times. I cannot say how much I recommend the focaccia as an appetizer. I could eat the entire thing myself. Both times, we have also ordered a pizza. This past time, I tried the Agrodulce, which has chicken and bacon. The bacon was more of a jam mixture than cooked bacon. The first time I tried the spicy salami. Both were very good pizzas and did not make me feel too full from eating them. In the most recent time I was there, I also tried the chicken parmesan. The chicken was crispy and very juicy. It was served on bucatini with an alfredo sauce, while the chicken was a marinara sauce. The combination was very pleasant.

So good. Mind blowing good. Don’t skip the wings, oysters or cheese curds. Pizza was also delicious as well as the desserts. Casual enough for a hangout but nice enough for date night. Must come.

This was our second visit to Red Rabbit, and if possible, it was even better than the first. We stopped in on a Tuesday night and were blown away by the consistency and quality of the experience.

From the moment we sat down, the vibe was impeccable—cozy, vibrant, and effortlessly cool. I started with a glass of the Growing Season Pinot Noir (perfection), and my partner enjoyed the Mexican Honey Lager, which paired beautifully with everything.

The pizza came out blistering hot with that perfect crust char you usually only find in serious pizza cities like New York or Chicago.

We finished the night with the Zeppole with Nutella, which are non-negotiable here. Absolute perfection.

The service matched the food: attentive, knowledgeable, and timed perfectly. It feels rare to find this level of dining execution on a casual Tuesday. If you haven’t been, you are missing out on one of St. Paul’s absolute gems.

Highly Recommend: The Pizza, The Zeppole, and asking for wine/beer recommendations. We will be back again and again.
