The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I ate here for breakfast. I had the scrambled eggs with sausage and toast. My husband had the same, but with over easy eggs. When we sat down, our waitress asked if we would like a hot cinnamon roll that just came out of the oven. First off, we’re not small people, she hooked us right into the food bait. The cinnamon roll was absolutely amazing. It was big, hot, and fresh. The atmosphere was very quiet and peaceful. We were the only people eating at the time, and it was nice to carry on a conversation with Christian music in the background at a nice, calm level. Please give this place a try for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert! They of course serve some great ice cream!

I enjoyed pretty much every aspect of this place. The menu was simple yet had a lot of variety.
The food was good and the servers were super nice. The manager came by and made sure our food was good too.
I was a bit disappointed in the ice cream. It was good, just for $3-4 I felt the portion was exceptionally small. I did enjoy it, just I’m not sure if I’d buy it again.

Went there for breakfast with my wife. Being the only diner style place in Midland to get breakfast, that I know of, my expectations were high. The service was fast and friendly offering some fresh baked banana bread and coffee to start things out. Shortly after, breakfast of fried eggs, bacon, and hasbrowns arrived. To my dismay the first bite of eggs was stone cold as was the entire plate. I felt the plate itself and it was cold. This place obviously does not know or care about serving food on a warm plate to keep food from instantly getting cold before it even makes it to the table. Even at home I serve breakfast on heated plates.

Food was great and so was the service. Unfortunately all that was overshadowed by a disappointing ice cream of all things. I ordered a single scoop of strawberry in a sugar cone. I was given a ball of ice cream not much bigger than my thumb sitting on top of an empty cone! Guess I’ll know better if I come back. I wish I would have gotten a picture but it was pretty much gone after 1 bite.

I can honestly say that the RPD is the first place that made scrambled eggs as good as I do. They were fluffy and not overcooked. The avocado toast was delicious and the bacon crispy. Definitely a great place to get breakfast; and judging from the nice variety of ice creams and shakes a good place to sooth your sweet tooth!

My husband and I tried the Red Plate Diner and really enjoyed it. Inside is reminiscent of the 50’s diners. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger, (keto-style, served with lettuce instead of a bun) and side salad. The beef patty was large and yummy and the bacon was perfectly crunchy.
My husband had the Tuna Melt, Onion Rings and Chocolate Shake. He liked his meal but next time will ask for a lot more cheese on the tuna melt.

Such a cute place, we love to go there for date nights. The atmosphere is always nice and relaxing. Food, ice cream, and kid menus are available to you at the tables. Booths are spacious and comfy. Food is amazing and doesn’t make you feel gross afterwards. Portions are a good size. Ice cream is always delicious. We love it and will keep coming back to it!

This is a good diner with breakfast and lunch options. They also have an ice cream parlor that looks really good, but I didn’t save room. The biscuits and gravy is popular for a good reason. The eggs were cooked just right, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I’d like to try some of the lunch options on my next visit.
