I give 5 stars to both the food and the service. Absolutely delicious food! Chicken tikka was so tasty so as the aloo chat potatoes and the garlic naan? Can’t even tell you how gorgeous it was, so soft with crispy edges. We loved the service too. Those young ladies looked after us with a smile. Food came quickly.
So recommend this place and there’s a deal on Tuesday and Wednesday where you get 1 starter, 1 main, rice or naan and 1 side dish for £12.95. Absolutely bargain

Possibly the nicest Indian meal I’ve ever had. I’m surprised this place hasn’t got more rave reviews, it’s a bit of a hidden gem I’d say. Came here on my own tonight as down here for work, I wish my other half was with me as we both love this cuisine and this was spectacular! Completely faultless loved everything and what a bargain with the deal on! If I’m back in the area again I will come both nights its on haha! But I would happily pay full price because it was lush

Just had a lovely meal this evening at Red Pepper’s, staff were lovely and the company inside equally the same.We had the banquet for £12.95 each which runs on a Tuesday and Wednesday night, the food was excellent and we were full up as we had plenty of food.
If you are in the area or live here I can totally recommend it.
We had a Red Peppers chicken special and a Lamb bihari, I can fully recommend as both were very tasty.

Awful food, chutneys like water, no spice, lamb inedible, masala is completely the wrong dish. Staff took meals off the bill but after looking around and the state of the toilets and its online hygiene rating we won’t be returning.

So whilst walking around Newbury the A board outside Red Peppers Indian Restaurant caught our eye.. “Special Offer Banquet Night £12.95”
We decided to give it a go.
I enquired into the Mator Paneer and whether this could be mild and come without the peas. The gentleman said that was possible, unfortunately the dish arrived full of peas and was too spicy for me.
So, not being into too much spice I elected to have a Chicken Korma, this was lovely, albeit not as mild as I like.
The Peshwari Naan was AMAZING.
All in all we had a lovely meal (I wish I could eat spice) this is a lovely little restaurant. We would return, but I think I would do my homework to ensure the meal options I ordered were more to my liking.

Amazing! First time we have visited Red Peppers and we will definitely be back. Super welcoming, friendly and efficient service, great menu selection and most importantly the food tasted incredible and the portion sizes were really good too. Highly recommend the Bahari chicken!!
