The food is fantastic! The spices are subtle and layered, and the menu has excellent variety. This place is not fancy at all– it’s clean and tidy, but it’s attached to a gas station, and you have to go into the gas station to use the bathroom. They’re still brand new, so they’re working the kinks out of their service–everybody seems to be trying hard, but they’re learning.
I’ve dined in once and gotten carryout once, and the food has surprised me both times.
Basically, it seems like this is a restaurant run by people who can cook really well, rather than people who know how to run a restaurant really well. That’s not a complaint, just something you should know before going in. You’ll eat very well, it just may not be a polished experience.

I am sooo happy this is here. I have had Indian all over the world and am excited to have a great local place. This is southern India cuisine. The flavors are amazing here. As good as you can get anywhere in Lexington and better than most here. The tiki masala is very good. Chicken saag is not the best I have ever had but pretty close. I look forward to trying more here.

The food was wonderful!!! Very flavorful with depth and dimension. They have a few things that we haven’t had at some of the other Indian restaurant in the area. Try the coconut chutney!!!!!!

Such good Indian food, if you are in the area you have to check it out. The Chicken Tikka Masala is in point, and the Garlic Naan bread is excellent. This is exactly what a place like Nicholasville needed. Very friendly staff, and very good prices.

Probably the best Indian food I had in a very long time. I got 4 entree meals. Goat curry, makhani chicken, saag paneer, and lamb tikka masala with 6 naan… This fed 6 adults. I ask for everything to be a 3 out of 5 hotness and it was spot on ,,, exactly what I was expecting. Hot enough to want some water but not too hot to hate myself. The Naan bread was really good and soft and crispy and buttery all at the same time.
The restaurant is attached to a shell gas station … but you can not tell once you are inside. the place was clean and very welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Price was fair and average to other Indian restaurants.
I wish I had saved some to have for breakfast or lunch today.
I am looking forward to getting more soon…
