I’m from north of Philly, with family in New Jersey, and when I randomly stopped at this little shop on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere I was not expecting the best pizza I’ve had since I moved down south! The owner is from Toms River, NJ, and his pizza is classic thin crust New Jersey pizza. Simple, not fancy, and amazing. And I’m super snobby about my pizza lol!

On NC Highway 43, absolutely in the middle of nowhere, is an unexpected pizza place with surprisingly good food. Don’t let the outward appearance of the place throw you off. They sell great sub sandwiches and pizza by the slice. They also have some brands of soda that you wouldn’t expect to find in a little country store. At one time this was a cute roadside cafe, and they kept the name, but a new generation has stepped in and changed it into a nice little pizza place. Good job!
