I love quick Italian food, and this was the spot. When I arrived I parked in the lot. I walked in and was greeted. Lisa was my server, and she was super nice. I ordered the:

Best pizzas I had in the area, takes me back home. I grew up on brooklyn pizza and RedMoon takes me back home everytime!!! Service is great they alway make me feel welcomed when go there and the atmosphere is cozy, what I like about the place is it gives you an Italian restaurant feel with the pizzaria vibes. I make my way here from Jackson when I want to feel at home.

Always look to support local businesses. They have weekday lunch specials and pizza specials on Monday & Tuesday nights. They also offer online ordering which is super convenient. Great place with friendly staff.

My husband said he was raised on the pizza from here; however, after the service I was given last evening we can’t imagine eating from there again. I went in and ordered two dishes (lasagna and cavatelli/chicken). They were placed in a bag in a box when given to me. Upon returning home and picking the box up from the seat of my car, I noticed wetness fall all down the front of my clothing. I then pulled the box away from myself and saw it was soaked, the bag was full looking with fluid, garlic sauce down the front of me and the seat of my vehicle drenched. I took it inside carefully and opened it after placing box over sink and found that lid was never fixed onto the container of my chicken dish but with two pinches. The lasagna was on the bottom under the chicken mess and was mashed to container, but my husband was so hungry and it being his birthday he just scrapped the cheese off. I however now had a dry meal as all the fluid had spilled out. I called and informed the restaurant, explained about the situation and was told they aren’t responsible for the food once it leaves but that he would send a replacement this time. A delivery came and I thought I was going to be able to eat, only to find it was a lasagna. I called again and was told when I asked for a manager that I was speaking with one (In a very short tone I might add). I never asked for compensation for my ruined clothing, or the detailing of my vehicle due to the neglectful part of them not closing the food container properly. I just asked for the meal I paid for, which I was never able to get and enjoy fully. I don’t normally review however, I feel this gentleman was so rude that I needed to share.

It was truly a wonderful dining experience at the Red Moon Pizza! We drove from Maryland to the Red Moon Pizza in Howell Township, NJ this Saturday as we read about the recommendations from some Washington DC publications. The freshness of all ingredients, well-made dressing for salad, thin crest pizza with fresh mixed local vegetables are absolutely appreciated by vegetarians. The meat pizza reflects the wonderful Italian-American tradition and Italian heritage. There are much more choices on the menu. It is easy to drive to and there are ample parking spaces, why not give it a try when you are in town?

Not only is the food amazing , the delivery service is the best , my 2 dogs decided to run out the door when I was handed the pizza , the delivery guy helped he stopped traffic so they wouldn’t get hit , one is a Dachund that is diabetic and blind the other is a huge black lab with partial paw amputated from
Cancer , I was terrified , he did everything to help me with my dogs , I can’t thank him enough for having my dogs safe .

Great local spot right off of route 9. Their lunch special for 2 slices and a drink for 5 bucks is amazing. The pizza isn’t anything special, but it certainly hits the spot!
