I have walked by this restaurant many times and finally had an opportunity to try it. So glad I did! I love the fresh nutritious food, friendly service, and beautiful decor. I had tabouleh, lentil soup, and warm pita bread. Everything was delicious!

Since I’m recently relocated to Tennessee I’ve been building a catalog of places to eat so this was my first trip to Red Meze after a search on Google for Mediterranean fare and wasn’t disappointed. After a pretty light meal the day before I was super hungry when I arrived and went big with the meze platter so I could sample a few things, tabouleh and a falafel sandwich. The service and atmosphere was great and the food didn’t disappoint. If I had a complaint (and this is more of a personal preference) is the tabouleh seemed a little dry but I admit I like mine with with a bit more dressing otherwise I enjoyed everything form the hummus to the patlican kizartmasi. I’ll definitely be back to work my way through the menu.

The lamb shank was absolutely delicious!! Meat fell right off the bone and was extremely tender. And the rice was amazing with the leftover sauce and drippings from the lamb. Highly recommend it.

From start to finish this food is delicious and fresh. Hummus is THE BEST I’ve ever had from a restaurant. The staff was attentive,kind, grateful, patient and ready to make suggestions. I took the owner’s advice on what foods he recommended and was not disappointed. This will be one I will be frequently visiting. I highly recommend you try the walnut baklava.

We dined on the patio for the first time this evening. The spicy chicken Adana kebabs and Red Meza Margaritas were fantastic. Our service was provided by the owner who provided us excellent experience. We highly recommend this restaurant !

I don’t know what all these reviews are talking about – the hummus here is terrible and doesn’t have the proper consistency or ratio of lemon and garlic. A lot of the food is very bland but is a bit “exotic” for the area, which doesn’t automatically make it high quality. I have liked some of the turkish home cooking dishes. However, I thought one of the owners, an older lady, was quite rude last time and I don’t plan on going back.

The interior was nice. We wanted to try lamb shank but we arrived at the last hour. So we could not try this as it requires a long time to prepare. Give a call beforehand if you want to try the lamb shank. We ordered iskender kebab and the gyro. Both tasted good. The potion was good as well. I shared the iskender kebab with my husband and we were pretty much full.
