Every trip to the Red Maple feels like a trip to my childhood. The food is incredible and every single employee feels like someone I’ve known my whole life. Not only is the ambiance and food amazing, it really feels like a community center as you watch people interact as they come in and out. I’ll always go out of my way to come here.

Red Maple is a blessing of a luncheonette The food, music, and Charlie’s humor makes this an all-round eatery! The prices are cheaper than any diner, and it’s worth it! Delicious. Free refill for coffee, unless if you get 200 (which, according to Charlie, will be charged). Everyone is a regular here!

Charlie, the chef, has been doing this for over 40 years, I think. You get the standard breakfast and all other breakfast/lunch items as well. Charlie takes good care in making sure it is all done the right way. My daughter and I have been going there on Saturdays for years. His pancakes are good, and so are the French toasts. We usually go for two eggs scrambled w American cheese on top, all slightly warmed up in the oven w some toast.
We go there mainly to see Charlie in action, make him crack a joke, and feel the experience.

I love this place, food is delicious, most of all the atmosphere is something you don’t experience anymore. It’s like Cheers serving breakfast & lunch. Customers get to know each other as does owner, old fashion decor. One of a kind place where everyone says hello.
