Red Mango in Phelan. Based on the name, I thought it was a boba shop, but it’s actually a full-service restaurant with a diverse menu and many people dining in. Our group ordered the Dolsot Bibimbap (Stone Pot Bibimbap) and Jjamppong (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup).
To be honest, the food was a bit disappointing. The vegetables in the Bibimbap were overcooked to the point where they lacked any texture; they practically dissolved in my mouth instead of having a nice crunch. As for the Jjamppong, the noodles were different from what you’d typically find at other Chinese-Korean restaurants. While that’s understandable, the broth—the most important part—was lacking. There was a “No MSG” sign at the entrance, which might be why the soup tasted bland. It wasn’t really spicy nor well-seasoned; it just tasted flat.
While the service and the staff’s kindness were excellent, the flavors were quite underwhelming.

I’ve been here twice, and I haven’t been disappointed. I love it, especially for sushi in Phelan, the food is delicious. Don’t listen to the people saying its expensive. If you go to sushi restaurants, you’d know they arent cheap, but these are some of the most affordable prices for sushi and chinese food!! Thank you for satisfying my sushi cravings ❤️

Weather food is way over priced for what you get. If it tasted good then I wouldn’t have minded. The crab wontons were burnt on top and the filling was bad. It was just a bunch of imitation crab and hardly any cream cheese. There was a big bone in the sesame chicken. The orange beef was so hard and dried out it was impossible to chew. The shredded piece in the picture is a piece I attempted to eat.

Very good food! We were very happy with our food, it was really tasty! The service was great and the food was ready quickly. Everything was really fresh and well prepared and super delicious. I’ve only been here once, so I can’t speak to the entire menu, but the chow mien is great, and the fried rice is absolutely delicious! This place is unfortunately not close to me, but I will definitely be returning. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some tasty food and great service!

Ok… I lived in San Francisco area for many years and currently in Sacramento area for the past 16. When I come visit my parents in the high desert this is a must stop to eat. It is unbelievable that a restaurant of this food quality is in the middle of the desert in a little shopping center! Fresh, savory, athlete portions, inexpensive, great service! Whether a local or passing through….. STOP!

The Garlic edamame appetizer is a must! So flavorful and delicious! The Sesame chicken lunch special also good and lot of food for your buck.

Been a few years since we tried this place. Wow. The chicken is overcooked and low-quality, the fried rice is just eggs and some frozen vegetables dumped into white rice. And the prices went WAY UP! What a joke, never again.
