As one of the few Chinese restaurants by Yellowstone, this place was quite good. We had the poached fish fillet which was delicious and the tofu with vegetables to get our veggies in. Overall a breath of fresh air from the restaurants within Yellowstone which are just ok

I want to preface my review by saying this review is in the context of this being a Chinese restaurant in a town with 1200 population and limited food diversity/options.

As a Chinese American visiting from Chicago where authentic Chinese food is plentiful, I knew this wasn’t gonna stack well to the Chinese options there, but it also wouldn’t be fair to compare it to that. We were initially hesitant to try this place given some of the strongly worded 1-star reviews. But having eaten here, I can say that it simply does not deserve those bad reviews!!! (which prompted me to write this review) The food was not of the best value based on the price but definitely decent in taste and quality! We got 3 dishes for a table of 3 that all were fairly authentic and fair in serving size (photos taken half way through meal). The steamed fish in particular was a little pricy ($59) but well seasoned, fresh and authentic. The ambience was also great, very well decorated and clean, well above average for a Chinese restaurant you would expect out here. Service was average but there were no issues with hidden/pre-added tip as some reviews claimed. Staff was helpful and respectful. Overall a surprisingly great Chinese food option and definitely worth the minor splurge!

They will automatically calculate tips for you before you check out, so the bill already included the tip and you don’t have to give extra for your information. We ordered Grace beef, which is pretty good however, the other sprouts, I would say still have like remove of improvements and finally, it was still a decent Chinese restaurant after I seen the Yellowstone National Parkand if you miss your hometown labor, definitely visit there and the service is good. There’s no way time, which is also great overall it was a good place but just the sprouts I think that cuisine is not as authentic is.

Food is okay. 3% service charge is added when using credit card. 15% tip (or 18% if the group of 6) is automatically added to the bill as well, which they listed as “Subtotal” in the handwritten bill. It was okay to me, just make sure you don’t double tip.
Also, not sure how they run their business, some staff were working, some were just staring at us eating. So weird atmosphere.

We went in with low expectations because of all the brutal reviews online—especially surprising were the harsh ones from Chinese reviewing a Chinese restaurant. But everything turned out to be amazing! The Szechuan fish soup was just like what we had in China—spot on. Honestly, those negative reviews seem to come from people who didn’t clearly communicate what they wanted from their dishes. We ordered the spicy Szechuan fish soup, stir-fried green beans, and stir-fried noodles—all absolutely delicious. We finished everything! The server was also super helpful. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in town!

OVER PRICED!! look at my photos 3 items costed $36!!! The crab Ragaoons are bad. The cream cheese is sour. The orange chicken has no taste. The fried rice seems like a healthy kind of friend rice which I appreciate but this isn’t your traditional fried rice it’s like brown steamed rice. Take your money elsewhere for bigger portions and better quality food. Nice guy at the front tho great service but bad prices and food quality

Decided to try the well reviewed crab Rangoon. It was superb. Very crispy texture, which was perfection. And the stuffing melts in you mouth. Their crab Rangoon is enough to justify a 5 star review, but there is so much more.

To start the meal, I selected hot and sour soup which was perfectly seasoned and was delicious.

Then the entrée of General Tso’ Chicken followed and, while very good, not as exceptional as the crab Rangoon or the hot and sour soup.

Also, based on West Yellowstone resort pricing, many of the entrées were on the expensive side. But if $54 for an entrée doesn’t cause you pause, I am sure their stir fried Bison or Elk is worth trying for the true Yellowstone experience.

Great place to enjoy Asian fusion. Although an automatic service charge is added, it is worth it as the staff pays attention to their customers like refilling water, hot tea and checking in more than once on food quality.

Food taste great, we tried the bison with scallion and Singapore noodles from the house special menu. Did not disappoint and came out satisfied.

Overall prices are your typical tourist pricing and is right at par with area restaurants.

Will I come back – YES

We walked in, knowing we were ordering our food to go. It was very crowded when we arrived. The prices are very high, but considering this is a tourist town, we expected that. The entrees were $21.00 and did not come with white rice, which we thought it would. The crab Rangoon and the dumplings tasted great. The Sweet and Sour Pork was a little bland. The pork fried rice was also not what we expected. The pork lo mein had a lot of vegetables, which we appreciated. There were plenty of leftovers. Did it satisfy our craving for Chinese food? Yes. Will we go back again? Probably not. The girls at the podium were very friendly and helpful.

I was surprised to see such a family owned Chinese restaurant in Yellowstone national park area. It’s a typical Chinese eating house and I highly recommend them. It was fully packed and we waited for at least 30 minutes to get a table ( for Ten people). They have many options in menu. We started with oolong tea. We ordered in a family style and shared everything. The food was fresh, and hot. The portion size was huge, and the service was prompt. We ordered some house special fried rice, chicken with vegetables, Sichuan beef, Singapore noodles, etc. Everything was very tasty and filling. Only confusing choice was the hotpot- which was nothing close to the usual Chinese hotpot that we get in other places. Overall, very good food. Try them if you love Chinese food.
