Red Lotus Noodle House in Jenks Review – Facebook

I’m okay with that! The food, as we hoped was bright and delicious. My retinas got to eat before I did. They went back for seconds!! Greedy eyes …

Quick and to the point review…Not terrible, just not that great. Better Asian food is easy to find in the Tulsa area. Red Lotus Noodle is not good enough for me to return or to recommend it to a friend.
Details. We started with shrimp spring rolls. They were fair. I didn’t care for the dipping sauce. Pad Thai with Tofu for my wife. The tofu was properly prepared, but the meal itself was bland. The Korean Spicy Ramen was not. The chicken meat was very suspicious looking. Somewhat gelatinous in texture. Over cooked or chicken foot. Not sure, but this meal turned me off on the restaurant. The service was minimal. After the food was delivered the waitress never checked back. I think the lady understood English. I could barely understand what she was saying when she spoke. Small restaurant, clean. Order from a menu at your table. The food is delivered to you. Sodas in a can.
There is better Asian food in the Jenks/Glenpool area.

Outstanding small family owned spot. Folks are super nice and accommodating. Highly suggest the Mongolian beef add jalapenos. Spicy dumplings are great as well! Kung pao chicken was great too! Have been happy with everything we have tried! 100% worth a try!

Hot pho for a cold day. Thin sliced beef in a savory broth. Love the fragrant garnishing with scallions, cilantro, lime and chilies. Perfect to finish with hoisin sauce and Sriracha. Absolutely delicious.

Recently found an advertisement of this restaurant and thought to try their food. Its a small restaurant with maybe 7 or 8 tables inside and few outside. Their lunch special is very attractive which is the main reason I went in. Ordered the chicken pad thai lunch special which comes with two cheese wontons and an iced tea for $10. The wait time is the flip side. You have to scan the qr code on the table to place the order and I had to wait around 20 mins. But the food was awesome. Havent had a pad thai this tasty in recent times. I have tried almost all Asian restaurants in tulsa and I would say, this would come in the top 3 pad thai available in T-town. The flavor of cheese wontons was good too. I opted for the unsweetened iced tea but sweetened is also available(unlimited). Overall except the wait time, loved the experience.

The egg roll was good- crispy, but not overdone. Hubs got the orange chicken and said it was good as well. I got the pad Thai, and while the flavor was good, the chicken had a weird texture to me. If I go back, I won’t get this again.

The food at Red Lotus is excellent! I’ve had the chicken pho, the Mongolian beef, and the Kung Pao chicken. All dishes were fresh and delicious. The service is adequate. My only complaint is the music! They play New Country radio with ads, which completely kills the vibe of the restaurant. Any instrumental music would provide a much better atmosphere!

Kung po shrimp & pineapple shrimp were delicious! Strawberry ice cream bar was the best part of the meal!

Ordered take out and everything went smoothly. I was initially hesitant to spend ~$15/person but I will say it was worth it. I was able to get two meals out of each order. The food was exceptional, ready on time, and presentation was fantastic. All around a bit of sleeper pick in the Jenks area!

P.S. We agreed the best thing that we tried was the General Tso’s Chicken.

Red Lotus is an enthusiastic yes. It’s not fancy, but it is supposed to have a street food vibe. The food is great! Seems to be mostly hand made. I’ve been looking for fried rice like this for a long time. We also got the Thai boat noodle soup and crab Rangoon. All the food was stand out when compared to other places.

The owners always make sure you are well taken care of and the staff are friendly!
Great place for authentic Thai boat noodle, laab, papaya salads, and much more. My holy grail is the VIPA PAPAYA SALAD.
