Food & Drinks
We tried a wide variety of dishes:
Dragon Shrimp – Tossed in a sweet Asian-style sauce, beautifully garnished, and absolutely delicious.
Mariner Boil – Served steaming in a bag set inside a pan, packed with shrimp, sausage, and potatoes. We chose seasoned butter, and the portion was so large it was impossible to finish. Truly a feast.
Ultimate Endless Shrimp (kids’ portion) – Popcorn shrimp with fries, shrimp linguine, and shrimp scampi. My grandson declared it “the best shrimp ever,” which says it all.
Shrimp & Sausage Jambalaya – Over rice with sun-dried tomatoes, just the right amount of spice and very flavorful.
Grilled Lobster, Shrimp & Salmon Trio – A generous plate of seafood that impressed everyone.
Burger & Fries – Solid option for those not in the mood for seafood.
Every dish we sampled was fresh, hot, and flavorful, with standout portions that left us more than satisfied.
Service
While drink refills and clearing plates were a little slow at times, our server more than made up for it with her thoughtfulness. She kept our birthday cake refrigerated without us even asking, brought out plates and silverware for serving, and even provided a candle and lighter. A nice surprise was when she brought my last soda refill in a to-go cup since it came out later than expected—a small gesture that left a big impression.
Atmosphere
The dining room was calm, comfortable, and spacious enough for our large group. Even with ten of us, the service felt personal and attentive.
Value & Recommendation
For the variety and sheer amount of food, it was a great value. The standout seafood dishes, thoughtful birthday touches, and overall positive experience made this a night worth remembering. Most importantly, my dad thoroughly enjoyed his birthday celebration—which was our goal.
Recommendation: Perfect spot for family gatherings, seafood lovers, and anyone looking for a generous, celebratory meal in Federal Way.
I calmly shared my frustration with the manager on duty, Gilbert, explaining that the extended wait time prevented me from participating in the work lunch as planned. Rather than acknowledging the inconvenience, his response was defensive. He stated that their kitchen timer showed the food took only 18 minutes to prepare and did not offer an apology or demonstrate a strong level of customer service.
As I was boxing up my food, Gilbert returned and assumed we wanted separate checks. He proceeded to split the checks and applied a discount to mine. I explained that I was not seeking a discount; I was simply trying to communicate that the lengthy wait was unfortunate and that I did not get the opportunity to enjoy my meal with my colleagues. I had to take it back to work to eat at my desk instead.
Given that this establishment presents itself as a higher-end restaurant, I found both the overall experience and the interaction disappointing and somewhat embarrassing, especially considering this was a professional lunch meeting. I hope management takes feedback like this seriously and works toward improving both service efficiency and customer care.
We went here in the beginning of August to celebrate my partners birthday. There were four of us in total, we were seated promptly and had a very nice energetic waitress. The service was a 10/10. Atmosphere was ranked low as unfortunately we were sat between two tables with multiple crying children, just kind of soiled the night. Not saying thats against the company, just not amazing. Parents deserve to eat out as well, I understand that. As for the food. We ordered a number of apps, and then each of the four of us ordered one of the new seafood boil bags, as this was the main reason we went! The apps were okay, we got the crab queso and chips, not alot of crab, more queso. Butterfly coconut shrimp, 6 shrimp for $20 was kind of steep. They were okay, not amazing. Also ordered popcorn shrimp, those were excellent. My mother ordered the lobster bisque, it was basically tomato soup. Disappointing. After all of that, we move to the boil bags. All in all not bad, but just lacked flavor unfortunately. Dinner after tip was roughly $370. Unfortunately after the flavor profiles I dont think we would return, we had high hopes for the seafood boil bags but it fell short.
The food was decent and everyone at our table was able to find something they liked, which honestly made the whole thing stress-free. It was nice having options that worked for everyone.
The only confusing part was the reservation process. I got two voicemails the night before asking me to call back to confirm, which I did, but when I called, the person I spoke with seemed unsure about why I was calling. It wasn’t a big deal, just a little strange.
All in all, a solid spot for a holiday meal when you want something simple, familiar, and don’t want to cook.
