The waitress had my order all screwed up.I only received one lobster and 1/2 a side.I asked about the other side and she corrected that .The food was partially cold.
The meal was around $140 I believe.This is when I noticed that I was charged for the one side that was supposed to included in the meal.I also noticed that the baked potatoe was also charged to my meal.It had a few(3) little pieces of lobster on top of it.
The bad part is coming up.The vent directly above our table was covered in what looked like black mold.I took several pictures of the surrounding vents and all were covered.I contacted the manager and showed him and he offered to move us.That picture alone made everyone at the table nauseated.I told him no thanks we are leaving.We didn’t even finish the meal.
I contacted the Red Lobster corporations and informed them that I had a serious complaint.
I let them know that I was going to the Health Department and the news media about this issue if I didn’t hear back from them within 24 hours.I received a blanket statement from someone that someone else would contact me by the 27th.Still haven’t heard nor will I.
The health department did do an investigation but failed to test the substance on the vents.Issued Red Lobster a citation of sort.
I will never go back there.This stuff on the vents looked like it had been there for months if not years.
If I could post pictures I would.People need to think twice about eating here.I suggest you look up at the exposed ceiling and make your own decision about eating there.
My families health means more than a full stomach.
I feel like Red Lobster should refund the price of the meal considering what we went through.
Our waiter, Jason, was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating especially with our family and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. You can tell he truly cares about the guest experience. The GM, Brandon, also checked in on us and was so thoughtful and attentive, which made the night feel extra special.
And the food… absolutely phenomenal! Lobsterfest did not disappoint. everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back again. Thank you to the whole team for making our family dinner such a memorable one!
