We both had ordered the Mariners Seafood Boil, and when it came out to us neither of them contained any crab legs. Our server was quick to fix it. Unfortunately though our corn was cold. My corn was cold to bite into, and my boyfriend’s was cold to the touch. Even though they had just got delivered from the kitchen. And when our crab was delivered mine was cold, and the crab legs were practically empty, just air and water.
We also sat next to a dirty table full of dirty dishes and trash for most of our time there. I also used the bathroom twice during our trip. The first time the bathroom were quite low on toilet paper. By time I had used the bathroom again, some of the stalls were completely empty, with no extra toilet paper anywhere.
We watched the owner walk around to different tables all around us checking on them, and I eventually asked our waitress if we could talk to the owner. After explaining the situation we were given $20 off our meal. This took our total from $113.04 to $93.04 (not including tip). I understand the gratitude, but unfortunately I just don’t believe it was enough.
By the end me and my boyfriend were just ready to leave, as we were upset and disappointed.
We are unsure if we will return to this local. Maybe it was an off night, but either way it was disappointing.
PS: This isn’t commenting on the service or the restaurant interior itself. We got it “to-go” so this is strictly about the quality of food we got from this experience.
