First time this has happened to us even during a holiday. We got there at 4:50 and they added our name to the list and told us they will text us when they had a table for us. The lady said it would take about an hour and a half to two hours. My wife and I said ok as we needed to go to the store.
We left to the store and made it back to red lobster in about 45 minutes. We waited in the car until 6:30 and then I went into the restaurant to check on our spot. The lady was very polite and told me that there are people still ahead of us and she was still waiting to seat the people that had reservations at 5:30. I asked how long the wait will be. She told me about an hour. I said ok and went back to the car.
The wife and I waited in the car until 8:00, so now 3 hours went by. I went back inside and spoke to the lady again. She looked stressed out and I was polite as she was with me. Kudos for this lady for the stressful night (Valentine’s Day). I asked what was going I. And she told me that there are about 7 people ahead of us and still looking to seat her reservations first.
I told her that we have been waiting since 4:50. In a nut shell she told me that we are walk ins and was placed on the list, however anyone who placed a reservation online took priority over walk ins. We were looking at another hour wait if we were even able to get in.
I told her that I am not upset with her but how things were being ran and we were pushed to the end of the line waiting for 3 hours with no definite time frame. She told me that the online reservations took more than what was supposed to have taken and she notified the GM about this issue.
I gave the service 5 stars, only based on the front desk was so polite and professional. They went through a lot of stress as you could see it on their faces. I did not catch the ladies name, but she was wearing red, she did fantastic.

I was greeted at the door by the manager who also sat me at my table. She was extremely friendly, had a great smile and made me feel good welcomed. She was definitely the best part of my dining experience. My waitress, on the other hand it was terrible. There were only 2 tables, including myself in the entire restaurant and the other table left shortly after I got there, leaving me as the only patron in the dining area. My waitress brought biscuits and my drink, but never brought any butter for the biscuits. She never came back to see it if I wanted another drink and my drink was empty for the entire duration, after my food got there. I had the steak and lobster. My waitress said that she would come back and check to see if my steak was cooked correctly however, she never came back to the table until it was time to give me my check. I think people forget what customer service is supposed to be and that they are working for tips. I will say that I asked for the manager upon leaving the table and it was the same lady that greeted me when I came in. I told her my concerns, and that the waitress did a very poor job and she addressed all of my concerns. I definitely felt heard.

When I say at the bar to order, a woman behind the bar completely ignored me (I think the conversation with another patron was too good) I was greeted by a gentleman who was my actual waiter, however I asked the woman for a menu, she handed it to me and continued her conversation…. The actual waiter was great at giving attention (I think the lady should refrain from standing behind the bar)… I recently ordered the salmon bowl from another location, and it was cooked perfectly. Today’s salmon was dry, I asked if it could be cooked in the brown butter sauce but I didn’t taste it all, I’d gotten about 3 teaspoons of rice (Next time I’ll order extra rice) and it wasn’t fluffy (Undercooked) I received a ton of lettuce tho. But the biscuits were delicious, warm and baked to perfection!! I’m not giving up on this location, I’ll be back. Prayerfully, I’ll have a better review..

Shron took care of me today and her service is impeccable!!!! She anticipated my needs and I didn’t have to ask for anything. The food was cooked to perfection! Hot, seasoned, and fresh. It’s hard to find great food and service anymore. My visit today was so pleasant. I’ll be going back more frequently. If you haven’t been in a while, you definitely should!!
