I would recommend reserving a table ahead of time if you don’t want to risk not being able to eat. The food came out a little warm and almost cold. Switched out our servers because our original wanted to something on tv. The booth’s were cozy and clean.

Was in there 3/31/23 with a party of 3, was seated quickly, served quickly and well attended by our server considering it was a busy Friday nite. I had the standard fish and chips, liked the fries, wasn’t so much impressed with that big hunk of fish, but it was edible. The others loved their meals, and of course the biscuits are always a treat, the drinks were good, and the wine we ordered was excellent. Id go there again to try something else on the menu. So overall not a bad nite out

My bacon cheeseburger was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. I don’t eat seafood but our daughters wanted to my husband there for his birthday. Our server was very pleasant. Not very attentive but when he did come around he was very nice.

Cheddar biscuits are absolutely out of this world! Had Walt’s Favorite Shrimp & Popcorn Shrimp – excellent. Also loaded-baked potato and crispy brussel sprouts – amazing! Server Jason was terrific!!! Didn’t mind paying $35 before tip because I always get 2-3 meals out of one. People waiting to be seated asked how the food was and I told them excellent. Will return as much as possible!

Father’s Day 2023 Decided to go here and with the wait being long my broccoli was rotten or whatever was on it idk it looked gross. It was changed out however it just look like they removed the nasty looking one and gave my remaining broccoli• My crableg on the seafood platter wasn’t properly cleaned either but i dealt with that but i couldn’t deal with the broccoli •

Before tonight I would have given 5 stars across the board, but no matter how good things were prior, tonight cleared the slate. Of all the places to go for our 3rd anniversary, we decided to go here… in Mentor. This is also the first time leaving without a doggy bag. In the 3 years we’ve been going here, we’ve never had a meal that caused us to send something back or complain. Today we sent back the shrimp 3 times, the biscuits were over baked and dry, the lobster tail twice, did not receive a side dish, and everything except the pasta was overcooked and over-salted multiple times. Though I didn’t expect a free meal, which it wasn’t, I also didn’t expect to pay over a hundred dollars for one of the worst meals I’ve had at a restaurant. My wife was much more incensed than I was, even to go so far as to say, she never wanted to go back there again. As hard as staff and the manager tried to accommodate us, a $40 discount just doesn’t seem appropriate.

We had a disappointing experience at this red lobster. We have never been here before. When we came in, they took our name and said it would be 45 minutes to an hour wait for a table. While we sat for an hour, we noticed 6 teenagers at the hostess station. They stood talking and laughing. They rolled their eyes at people coming in and out of the door and even at one point a server. They were eating/drinking. A few of them even had AirPods in their ears listening to music. When we got back to a table, it was 15 minutes before we saw a server. They told us it was a discrepancy among servers of who would be taking our table. Everything was delayed. Our drinks took 20 minutes. We waited for our food only for our server to bring our our order and forget the cocktail sauce we needed. It was another 10 minutes before we got the sauce. Our shrimp was cold by then. Our server at one point was seen arguing with another employee in front of a bunch of tables. We have never had such horrible service. It’s unfortunate because our food was delicious. We believe there was a lack of communication from the hostess station to the servers that would take us. With there being 6 people at the door, you think someone would have been able to communicate. We won’t be returning to this location.

We went on Saturday at noon for a buy 1 get 1 appreciation day and for the first time in many years I was impressed. Admittedly it was because of our bartender/server who was superb in her humor and ability to problem solve. We had a $35 Seafood feast and though I usually dislike deep fried shrimp, those were not over breaded and very tasty. Fried lobster over noodles was also quite good. (Lightly breaded lobster to me is better than the other-another anomally. Side note: warmer seas have made lobster very prevalent therefore prices should have fallen but somehow have not, they are being kept artificially high.) What can I say about the biscuits? My take home was stuffed flounder which would have been better eaten warm but that was on me. I think red lobster may have finally taken a turn toward the positive.
