Got there for Happy Hour, Christmas day and was pleasantly surprised.
Then we went back last night 2/13/26, and my wife and I did Happy Hour again. I am kind of afraid to say it, but I think the bar at the Red Lobster is one of the best kept secrets in Hixson!
Seriously! $5 LIT’s and warm cheddar biscuits! OMG! There are also some discounted apps that are pretty good. Wife and I split the fish and chips. Delicious! The bar is nice, fairly large, a couple of tv screens, not obnoxious. It was also nice and quiet. My wife and I were able to have a conversation! It was so quiet, in fact, I could here every word from the lady sitting at the table behind us talking on the phone with her mother, about taking someone to the Dr’s office and then taking them from there to school, and how someone else was supposed to do it but they couldn’t …but i digress. Anyway, that’s not Red Lobster’s fault.
We had a great visit. I do want to mention that Carter did a great job taking care of us and made our visit there a wonderful experience. We will be back! Hopefully, nobody will read this, and we can still have the place to ourselves!

I ordered the shrimp and lobster linguine, The flavor was verwatery. I asked for a bowl of lemons and squeezed them to enhance the taste, added salt and pepper, but still was not great. My husband and daughter both ordered the Cajun chicken Alfredo it was runny and had very little flavor they said.. They asked for a side of the Cajun seasoning and tried to dress it up a bit. Biscuits were flat and doughy in the center, The dough in the center was stretchy. It wasn’t like they were just moist and there was no butter on the outside of the biscuits. They were the most bland gross cheddar Bay biscuits I’ve ever had at red lobster. I’ve never had a bad experience with the biscuits ever this was the first. After we paid our bill that was over $100, We spoke to the manager just to let him know that the dinner was disappointing and he was only able to say I’m sorry I hope you come back. We assured him that we would absolutely not be back and then again he just apologized. Did not offer to give us a coupon a discount on future purchases he didn’t offer to bring us a dessert or anything which was fine but he was so squirrely he could barely look us in the eyes. We were very kind, but wanted to inform him that the quality of the food was substandard, The manager‘s name was Davis, and he seemed very indifferent. It’s no wonder the parking lot was empty on a Friday night at 7 o’clock. Save your money

Our waitress was Destiny. She was awesome. The food was delicious. The drinks were great. I ordered a margarita. The very best I think I’ve ever drunk. Came to find out The waitress Destiny was the bartender also. Thank you Destiny for such wonderful service.

Mary was the perfect server with a sweet smile and her kindness was a 10/10! This was my birthday and I live over one hour from Chattanooga… but it was worth it. She checked on us regularly: refilling our drinks and biscuits. Please acknowledge her if possible; she deserves it!

From our entering to placing our order was quick and polite. Our server was attentive and able to explain and answer our menu questions. Appetizers presented quickly and a side from the lack of plating style tasted great. but since like all chain restaurants most dishes come ready to reheat and are easy to serve up. So my main dish, the Lobster was in fact over cooked. The salmon was perfect, the shrimp also very good. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Our server Aryana was very nice. And only a few technical errors kept them for a perfect 5.

I got a gift card to use for my birthday so we decided to go have dinner July 22 our waitress was so nice so we ordered 2 walz shrimp platter. Shrimp tasted so bad like something was wrong with it. I talked to the manager that evening she apologized and put me on hold came back and said the district manager would call me next day I never heard from them. It’s been 2 weeks. As much money as you charge you should take better care of your customers. They the ones that keeps you in business. I just pray no one got sick from that day eating there. It was nasty. Sorry to have to say that. I love seafood but it put a bitter taste in my mouth. After talking to the district manager they email me another gift card so we decided to use it on Nov 9th went to the same location was greeted sat down this guy waked over took our order didn’t get our garlic bread till almost our food came out. Then we saw no one till almost time to get our bill i went over to the girl that greeted us show her my email the district manager sent me she said they don’t use them lol I then said I talked to the district manager she then looked at the guy next to her said do we honor them? I said I’ll like to see the manager she looked at it said yesmam just give it to your sever. Thanks for the second try but the hixson location has alot of issues maybe work on that store.
