I want to shout out our server Destiny, who made our experience a wonderful one – the food was plenty tasty and it was a nice quiet environment for conversation. We had the Ultimate Feast as well as the Soy Glazed Salmon Bowl and the Crab Queso. My highlight was the salmon bowl, it was amazing! Would come back for a nicer yet affordable meal.

Red Lobster is stepping their game up. The Cheddar Bay Biscuits were on point, per the usual. I absolutely love their Crab Stuffed Mushrooms. My Sunset Colada was perfect. The food was good and I loved the presentation of it. Plus they have a new holiday drink menu. The Snow-globe Sangria is so beautiful. I was given excellent service from Hannah, sitting up at the bar.

So we finally decided to go to the red lobster in Columbia. We were immediately greeted and sat. Being a Friday going into dinner the restaurant wasn’t to busy. The server was a little slow getting to us, it took about 10 minutes before a the server came to our table, which normally at that point we would have walked out. To start we had a couple of cocktails and a couple of apps. We ordered the seafood stuffed mushrooms and bacon wrapped scallops both were on point and flavorful. Entree’s we had the New Orleans salmon and the admirals feast. Now the Salmon was 10/10 great flavors nice portion as far as the admirals feast which we heard was the must try was no so great, fish was dry and salty, clam strips were bland, the shrimp was good but not so much everything else on the plate. The fried Brussel sprouts were amazing but a little to heavy on the balsamic glaze which was a little to sweet. Overall the experience was good, service was a bit slow at times, but the Manager Nikki made our first visit amazing. Nikki would probably be the reason we give it another try. We definitely aren’t ones for chain restaurants but this was okay.

The pound of crab legs for $20 on Tuesdays was too good to pass up. The endless shrimp was also too good to pass up lol.
First the shrimp dishes. Walt’s Favorite Fried shrimp. Butterflied and fried shrimp. No surprises with this one. It’s good. Not great l, but good. The shrimp scampi is a go-to favorite. Excellent flavor but the shrimp are a little on the small side. The crispy dragon shrimp has a little heat to it. Also flavorful. Popcorn shrimp, like the Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, no surprises here. The new Tequila line shrimp also really good.
The “crab your way”. We got snow crab legs with honey sriracha and roasted garlic butter. That was too messy. Next time we’ll get them “simply steamed” and have the sauces on the side.

Had an extremely unpleasant experience with their wait staff. Had a $100 gift card, dinner pictured was around $68, I signed off and tipped $15-17 in cash and card showed balance of ~$30 left on the receipt. Next time we came in, the gift card had only $0.07 left. I just now spoke with the manager and they were accommodating to give me a $50 gift card.

I still don’t understand how the waiter first boasted how he’d made $500 that day, then said he had forgotten to punch in our order so we got our food 42 min after we placed it, and then proceeded to collect $50ish in tips on our $68 dinner.

Owings Mills was packed with others, myself included, there for Endless Shrimp. One drink never came and was charged twice for another drink all in all the biscuits were fresh and the food was well worth the price

Overall, I enjoyed my time here today (Saturday afternoon 3pm-4pm). Esther was my server and she did a great job. She was attentive without being over-bearing. She was very friendly. The food was good. It is a little pricey though, so make sure you are willing to spend at least $30 a person. The only issue I noticed at the restaurant was some very dusty and spotty window mini curtains things (picture included). With the vents blowing right at them, the dust was falling and floating around. I noticed that on the two windows closest to me. Other than that, I enjoyed myself today. Happy National Surf & Turf Day! (February 29th)

This is one of the best Red Lobster locations around. They have so many great items but some of my recent favorites are the Salmon Soy bowl with edamame, Brussel sprouts and quinoa rice (delicious!). My classic selections are the snow crab legs or ultimate feast but believe it or not, this is a medium rare Wagyu bacon cheeseburger and it came out , perfectly!

Staff is friendly and waiter was attentative. Appreciated his recommendations. The food was good for the price but the rice was a bit under cooked. The seafood was cooked well.

The photos are images of leftover food. I ate most of chicken alfredo and broccoli in restaurant. However, I ate the admiral feast and cole slaw the next day. The food is good. A great place to go if you want to try something different.

The cheesy biscuit is served before the main meal. Yes, the biscuit is free.

I ordered the following food for lunch:

Admiral’s Feast: Walt’s Favorite Shrimp, bay scallops, clam strips and wild-caught flounder, all fried to a golden brown. Served with cocktail and tartar sauce. My choice of two sides is cole slaw and garden Salad.

Cajun Chicken Linguini Alfredo: Spicy chicken in a creamy garlic Alfredo sauce on a bed of linguini.

Broccoli
