My husband and I live 2,500 miles away from family, so the holidays especially Christmas kind of suck. This year we went to Red lobster Christmas day, and holy crap they knocked it out of the park. It was so much better than we had anticipated. I got the salmon lobster and grilled shrimp in a brown butter sauce, it was exquisite, and exceptionally delicious. My husband who is extremely picky was also very pleasantly satisfied, which is saying alot! I forgot to take a picture of our food because I was so excited, but 10 out of 10 would highly recommend. And since poor Dan had to work Christmas day we made sure to tip him 30%. Thanks bud!

I’m extremely disappointed with our recent dining experience at this restaurant. We visited to celebrate a birthday, but the service was subpar. The restaurant was empty, yet they refused to accommodate our request to replace a side dish due to dietary issues. The food was also poorly prepared – my husband’s salmon was burnt, and the dishes arrived at different times, causing one family member to eat last. The manager’s absence and lack of explanation only made things worse.

My wife and I stopped to eat after a long day of shopping. We were immediately greeted when we came in and were promptly seated. Our server Cashmere (Aniyah G) took our drink order and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu to order appetizers. She then came back to take our dinner order. She gave us periodic updates on our appetizers and entrees. She also did an awesome job of making sure we were ok. When the appetizers came out the calamari and stuffed mushrooms we were very pleased with the large portion sizes and the quality was very good. For our entrée we both got the Ultimate feast and the presentation was beautiful and the taste was oh so good. I only wish i would have taken photos. My compliments to the kitchen staff. We have eatten and other Red Lobsters but none as good as one on N. Atherton in State College. 6221. Cashmere was by far one of the best servers i have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. You can definitely tell she enjoys her job and it show in her level of service. I will definitely make the trip back to this Red Lobster and hooe to have Cashmere be my server again. GREAT JOB TO ALL THE STAFF.

Red lobster has definitely changed for the better. Never used to like coming here too risky for how expensive things are but this experience has changed that for me. We took the risk and I’m glad. Many thanks to the new CEO! We dined in. Staff were really nice and our waitress was the best! The biscuits were nice and fresh, warm and soft. The boil bags were absolutely delicious!! I got the original Cajun flavor and it was perfect was not too spicy at all but enough flavor for me! I also tried a whole 2lb lobster for the first time and it was very good. LOTS of meat! The boil bag and 2lb lobster was enough for 2people. The lobster comes with 2 sides as well. I got the hush puppies and they were really good. The Sunset Passion Colada is delicious and Purple Haze by Dre + Snoop was also really good. Loved the sparkles in it and it wasn’t too sweet and I could taste all the flavors. Also tried the Lobster Punch and it was really good more on the sweeter side. We paid $150 for everything and it was totally worth it to me. Boil bags are not cheap to begin with and the lobster was on the pricey side but it was a good first time experience. Would definitely recommend and if they keep it up I’ll be coming back!

I am extremely dissatisfied with how this evening went. Went in for Valentines Day as expected it was busy we got seated and 5 minutes later we were asked to move. Not a big deal seeing how we were at a table for 6 however it took an hour and a half for food and our waiter was below expectations for dinning in. When the food finally came my girlfriends food came out what she ordered however I ordered the same thing the mariner boil and my lobster and shrimp were both missing the waiter said it would take a while for it to come out then came back and said they didn’t even have it cooked and that I was not getting it then he proceeded to act like he did me a favor when he said I wasn’t being charged for it. Overall poor customer service and only checked in about 5 times the entire time we were there and acted like he was to good and above us.

I had a wonderful dining experience today! Today, the server and food were phenomenal!! The service can be hit or miss, as can the food. However, for me, it’s worth the risk. The food is a bit expensive for my taste, but the portions are very large. I love the rewards program!! If you ever do have any negative experiences and leave feedback, management swiftly responds and resolves the issue. The overall atmosphere is usually very pleasant, upbeat, and a quaint little place to enjoy a quiet meal, depending on the time of day. I love Happy Hour with $5 drinks and $2 off appetizers.

As a visitor to US, this was my first experience with Red Lobster. I know this is a popular seafood restaurant chain so I assume quality standards are same across the country.
The place was relatively quiet when I visited. The servers were helpful and food was served quickly.
I tried different dishes over 2 days and I must admit everything was high quality. The food was full of flavor and well presented.
I loved the convenience of paying using their special devices that are placed on each table.
My favorite was the ‘ultimate feast’ which was a mix of lobsters, shrimps, clams etc.
The touch based device placed on each table is also loaded with games. I was just exploring the games and found a bill of $1.99 on my tab. However, the server was helpful and removed it from the bill. I guess I should have paid more attention before clicking play.
The food and ambience is excellent hence the 5 stars.

Haven’t been in one for sometime. Was looking forward to the biscuits and the Lobster tail. Food taste was OK but you can feel it lost all day glory. However enjoyed a meal with memories of the past

We had a fantastic dinner at this Red Lobster location. We had excellent service from Amy, our waitress, while enjoying a good meal. This location was clean and all of our meals came in a timely matter and very good. We had the sirloin steak, lobster tail, shrimp, and chicken salad. The fudge brownie dessert was very good and large – a must have! Overall great experience and we will definitely be returning while visiting our son who is now a student at Penn State. I highly recommend visiting when in the area.
