Very good food, and I don’t mind paying a premium for fresh, authentic, flavorful food…. but the serving size was ridiculous for a $15 dinner. I had the mango curry chicken and it was so very good, but was less food than I’d expect for even a lunch. The chicken was good and tender, but only 2.5 to 3 ounces present at most. The sauce was rich and complex and perfectly balanced… but I was still hungry when I was done. Too expensive for what you get. Won’t be back.

I find the food here to be very good and tasty. I can’t say I’m an expert in Thai food but when compared to other Thai restaurants I’ve been to Red Jasmine is very good. We’ve had all the curry dishes and have beef excellent. I have also had the Bangkok duck and was cooked and tasted great.
The Pad Thai also was very good along with the Chicken Satay. So far I haven’t had a bad meal from there and the service has been very good and they will adjust to flavor or hotness.

Our favorite Thai restaurant in the Roanoke area. Pleasant atmosphere, very attentive wait staff and delicious dishes. I had the Amazing Duck plate tonight. The duck was moist and tender, and the accompanying vegetables were just cooked enough to be tender and flavorful. Always fresh vegetables, never frozen. Their peanut dressing is wonderful on their garden salad.

Amazing! I’ve had thai food from many different places in much larger cities and this hands down blows them all away! Service was quick and friendly. Satay was incredible, the peanut sauce was just mind blowing. I had the Hot Basil and Beef and was not prepared for how delicious it was. I will be making it a quest to try everything on their menu. You will not be disappointed!

I’ve been meaning to try Red Jasmine for quite awhile. I am so glad I finally did! The food was delicious. I had the pink lady (shrimp, avocado, acorn squash, carrots, and chick peas in a mild curry) and my husband had the amazing duck (duck and veggies in a chili sauce). We also had the gyoza, a coconut lime soup, and Thai iced teas, all wonderful. Service was friendly and prompt. The best Thai food I’ve had in the area. We will definitely be going back!

Very reasonable lunch prices for very reasonable lunch portions. I believe most lunch entrees are $9.50. Wonderful flavors, and they aren’t afraid to make it Thai spicy for you! Also, the Thai Iced tea is delicious and not too sweet.

We ordered 3 things:

1. Thai rolls- crispy and tasty, dipping sauce was thin
2. Yellow curry (chicken)- average flavor, meat/vegetables ratio was disappointing
3. Teriyaki chicken- lots of garlic, nicely steamed broccoli, unfortunately, the chicken was very thin and rubbery…not edible!

I have never had a bad meal at Red Jasmine. My husband was skeptical of Thai food, but I’ve got him converted now, from our many visits here. We always split orders of gyoza and edamame for starters. We’re trying to eat our way through the whole menu! I will say we are wimps about heat, so I can’t speak to their spicy dishes very well, but they have great flavors, and never any heavy sauces attempting to mask the taste or quality of the food.
