We came here because my fiancé had a gift voucher or some kind of promo for this restaurant. It was kind of small from what I saw, very easy to miss when driving by, and despite the fine dining prices and reservations required, the staff were very casually dressed. Our waitress was friendly enough but there was something a little off about her demeanor, my fiancé agreed. Maybe she was just having a really bad day and was just trying to push through it. We ordered the shrimp tequila appetizer and it was *chef’s kiss* delicious. The sauce was definitely the star and definitely good to dip your bread in. We ordered drinks, one thing I will say is they do not know how to make a vodka dirty martini, which was a bummer. First time i’ve ordered one and it came out pink and tasted really gross. For the main course I ordered the Mac n cheese with bacon and my fiancé got some kind of pork shank. He was blown away by his dish, said it was one of the best things he’d ever had. I was less impressed with my dish. It was good enough I suppose, but the cheese consistency and richness was very reminiscent of velveeta shells and cheese. I like velveeta shells and cheese so it was good, it didnt really match up to the price though in my opinion. I had two cocktails, my fiancé had a beer and a margarita (he said the margarita was horrible) and then everything in the pictures came out to $183. Definitely not worth that price accounting the food and disinterested waitress.

unfortunately, everything i had wasn’t worth the price that i had paid. the crispy pork shank was overdone – dry and slightly burnt. the wagyu burger sounded promising but bacon jam was overly sweet and really had one note.

Perfect wine bar and restaurant for a date night in Renton. Red House is literally a small red house and outdoor patio converted into a small restaurant with a wine bar that you can sit at and tables where you can share a meal with others. Despite the size you don’t feel too crowded. If highly recommend a cold white wine on a hot which they bring out in a bucket of ice for you. For food I’d recommend the shank and any of the pasta dishes. Be warned that the portions are huge!

Fabulous! We visited for the first time and we loved it! Very vintage and cozy feel. The food and drinks were outstanding! We sat on the patio on a beautiful afternoon and it was great. We will be regulars here for sure. Prices are decent, most cocktails $13 and entrees around $30. We each had a salad, beet and Mediterranean which were great and we split the waygu burger which was huge and the best burger we’ve ever eaten. We love it at the red house.

I’ve been fortunate to have dined at Red House about a couple dozen times throughout the past couple of years. Kessler and the team always make an effort to accommodate us and prepare amazing meals for us.
The star of the show really is the food. Curated menus based on seasons and new ideas keep the options fresh. The quality of the ingredients is very high. My favorite staples are the Wagyu Burger and the salmon.
There is a wide variety of cocktails, wine, whiskeys, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks that also rotate throughout the year. They are not afraid to put new things on the drinks menu.
The consistency, quality, and hospitality of Red House and their staff is unparalleled. I am going there again tonight!

Delicious, flavorful, satisfying dinner with family. Wagyu burger was hands down one of the finest burgers we had for awhile, one with cheese, one without. Was a bit hesitated ordering the crispy pork shark but turned out to be a great idea. It is crispy on the outside and still tender on the inside, oh and the mushroom orzo was full of rosemary and so delicious, it definitely completed the dish. Honey mustard parmesan chicken was on point. All dishes were very fulfilling and worth the price, definitely will recommend.

I was apprehensive, but this place exceeded expectations. Everybody enjoyed their meal, and service was fantastic. It basically is a house converted into a restaurant. Every room has a few tables, and the noise level was minimal. I recommend reservations as they can be very busy. My wife couldn’t quit talking about the beet salad, and the steak sandwich had lots of meat and a great flavor. Recommended!

Excellent food and top notch service. Unique cocktails in a cozy space. Great date spot. I wish I could eat the tacos every night. There were so many dishes I wanted to try. Being gluten free I feel limited at most restaurants but so there were so many tasty options! 10/10 would recommend! If you have a larger group call ahead for reservations. You won’t regret it!

Heard about this place from some friends so we had to try it. Cute house. We sat upstairs and it was nice to be up there. The server was pleasant and checked in enough where it did not feel like a bother. The delivery of food and drinks were very fast! The aioli sauces for the burger were top tier. The burger was juicy, cooked well and flavorful. The lobster ravioli was so delicious I wish the serving size was more. If you are in the area, go try it out.
To end the night was had the mystery shot for $5 and it was delicious.
