It was probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. A little too much blue cheese since it’s such an bold flavor but it was amazing! Definitely coming back again. I had a side Caesar salad awhile back which was very fresh & delicious! Its always busy here so you know the food is good! I did a pickup order both times but that service was good. Definitely plan to sit one day.

I was visiting town and grabbed lunch here with my husband. We ordered crab soup, fish n chips, side salad, and drinks. Crab soup was delicious, fish n chips was okay. It was crispy outside but i wish the fish itself was seasoned a bit. My side salad was fresh and nice but I wish they chose different kind of cheese to go on the salad or even no cheese would have been better that the mozzarella cheddar mix shred. The staff was all friendly and nice.

This place is a solid spot with a great laid-back vibe where everyone from the staff to the other patrons makes you feel welcome. Their grilled cheese uses American cheese instead of something fancier, but honestly, they execute it really well. Perfectly golden with fresh tomatoes inside that add a nice brightness. You can also select your own bread option. The fries are crispy, well-seasoned, and not swimming in grease, which is always a win in my book.
Don’t sleep on the fried pickles! Seriously, order them! And the Alamos Malbec is a steal for the quality.
It gets packed so you might end up perched at the bar like we did, but the quick service and friendly atmosphere make it totally worth the squeeze.

The food is really pretty good. My favorite dish was the onion rings. The barbecue pork was perfect, not too sweet or too much vinegar. The patio seating is nice. The staff was super attentive and friendly.

Cozy tavern atmosphere with excellent food and very friendly and accommodating staff. We asked if they could do a hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps in it and we were told they can and will do whatever we like. The fries are crisp and fresh, the burger was not a frozen patty, the salad was very good, nice wraps, and we always love their white chicken chili. The fish is excellent, too.

This place has amazing service, our waiter was on top of things the whole time! The food was really delicious. I got the Alpine burger and fries and a side salad. Definitely recommend. My husband got the wings and they were very yummy as well. The fries are some of the best I’ve had in a long time, super crispy potato perfection! My mother in law and father in law both got the salmon and said it was perfectly cooked and would get it again. We also had the coffee cake for dessert and let me tell you, get the coffee cake!! It was the best coffee cake I’ve ever had !!Highly recommend this place if you are in middleburg!

We were in the area and found Red Horse Tavern. I’m so glad that we did! Right when we walked onto the patio, we were greeted immediately by a hostess/server who, though she was very busy with other customers, was extremely friendly and courteous. Never once did she act like she was frustrated or overwhelmed.
She asked about drinks, and she had them sent out immediately.
It was a beautiful evening out on the patio, and after a short wait, our food arrived exactly how we’d ordered it. Small requests were brought over quickly and our dinner was amazing. I ordered just a regular cheeseburger with cheddar and a soft drink.
My daughter has the Grilled Chicken Cesar salad, I believe. It was HUGE! She said it tasted amazing.
All the food was presented deliciously with generous portions and bottomless drinks.
I recommend Red Horse Tavern 100%!

Sat outside on a beautiful sunny cool day. Got the buffalo chicken wrap with side salad. Very fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly (except appeared to be harried). Prices were reasonable especially given the location. We left to walk around the shops and came back for a coffee and piece of carrot cake. Yummy!
