Our first time ever here and let me tell you, if you like seafood you have to try this place! We had Jeremy as our server and he was highly attentive, knowledgeable, and on point with the menu. The food was absolutely delicious. We shared a combo platter with shrimp, muscles, and clams in mild garlic butter sauce. It comes out in a bag that you pour out on a platter. Will definitely be coming back!

Got it to go. Paid for a lb of crawfish and did not get any at all! Drove 1 hour home and realized it and called and they said to bring it back! Ummm no thank you! They basically said sorry they can’t give it to us at a later time or fix it without us bringing it back!!!! So we paid for something we never got!!!! Terrible customer service! Will NEVER BE BACK! Could have been easily fixed but they wanted me to drive an hour there and an hour back!!!

I’m very disappointed in the service so I’m not taking the time for writing and grammar errors. I placed an order over the phone for breaded all flat chicken wings tossed in honey gold with a side of fries. I was told it would be extra for the flats and i said that’s fine. She never said the wings couldn’t get tossed. Upon entering the restaurant i headed over to the pick up area. The short lady with glasses asked if i had an order and then starting saying my phone number. I said that is correct and then stated i forgot to ask for ranch in the bag can you please check. She said you asked for honey gold. I then replied that is correct but i asked for them to be tossed in honey gold and would like to dip them in ranch. She says we don’t do that here. I said i just ate here a few days ago and they did it for me with no problem. She says it must have been the black manager guy at take out. I said what black manager guy. Again i ate here a few days ago on the inside. She says ok and walks to go get my food. As you can see my wings are not like i ordered and she gave me two sauces for tossing for our 12 wings. I let her know that her statement was very discriminatory and i wasn’t pleased. No reply!

I am ashamed to say, although RED HOOK has been in Jackson for quite awhile, my wife and I have never been. We kept saying we wanted to try it, but somehow never got around to it. Well….THAT! was a mistake!. We were out Saturday, shopping and just happened to be driving by there at just the right time for lunch. We decided to stop and are so very glad we did!. Staff greeted and seated us immediately and the place looks great!. The last time I had been in that building, I think it was a Chinese Buffet. It is warm and welcoming and spacious. We were seated in a comfortable booth and a young lady immediately came to take our drink order. By the time she had brought our beverages, we were ready to place our order. I ordered the catfish basket with the Cajun fries and my wife ordered the oyster basket with onion rings rings. Lon story short, my wife loved the oysters and the catfish was perfectly prepared. Everything was quick, plentiful and hot and the young lady who waited on us was wonderful!. We have put Red Hook on our list of “Go To” places, and look forward to our next visit. The only negative was that they dont offer a lunch menu on weekends. Other than that, everything would be 5 star!

First time to visit here and we will be back. Had the fried shrimp basket from the lunch menu and it was delicious and filling. Six big shrimp with a light batter and fried golden. Also a generous serving of fries. All for $9 so you can’t beat that. Plus they gave a 10% veterans discount. Food and service were very good!

We had a pretty great experience. The food was really good except for the seasoning being too salty. The waitress was great!! I don’t understand why they wouldn’t give people the seafood tools needed for the crab legs. They gave us a real fork, though. Lol we used our hands to crack open our crab legs.

We celebrated my daughter’s 12th birthday. Our server was very sweet. We got the whole birthday song with cheesecake complimentary! The ticket was pricy with a 18% gratuity for 6… only 1 adult..

Let me begin by saying. If you go here stick with the seafood boils. I believe that’s there specialty and what is best! I got the seafood combo fired. Oysters and catfish with Cajun fries. Fries were cold. No taste, everything was frozen. Hope to get it one more chance!

The server by the name of Angie has really disappointed me I always come to red hook we there it’s by myself or with others and I’ve never had her serve me before but after today I won’t be needing another one after she served me what she did! First off she claim she introduced herself but I didn’t know she was my server until my guest introduced us to her we thought the man or at least I thought the man was mind you I didn’t say nothing to her until it was time to take my order still no pad or pen out and she took it and when my order came out 15 minutes later everything was wrong from top to bottom like I’m laughing crying right now because she literally asked so many questions just to have it all the way wrong I asked for the pound of shrimp she brought out crawfish whatttttt where do they do that at?? And this story so long cause why the manager come over and ain’t offer no type of assistance to make this an enjoyable experience?? Yeah I hate red hooks
