The restaurant was very nice. Good color scheme and atmosphere. The service was very good. A mistake was made with the miso soup and they were very nice and replaced it for everyone. The grilled calamari was very tasty and well cooked. The 3 sushi rolls we tried were very good. We tried the Dancing turtle, seared salmon, and yuzu roll. The favorite was the salmon. The miso was good also.

One of the best Asian fusion places I’ve ever been to. Service staff is extremely attentive. Sushi is phenomenal, main dishes are delicious, and there are so many Asian cuisines you can choose from.
Their drink list is quite extensive as well. Great desserts. I will most definitely be visiting again.

Make reservations! We didn’t make any so waited 1.5 hours (they will text you so we walked around, shopped and had drinks at a bar). So worth the wait!!

Food: Vietnamese Shaking Beef, and both specials (crab rangoon, crab and tuna sushi roll) – all absolutely delicious!

You can tell the staff were very organized, had ear pieces in to communicate, nicely dressed. This team has their shit together. Was nice to see!

Def a must if you’re in town!

Our favorite place in Traverse city. A rich menu with a lot of amazing options. We basically wanted to try everything. The appetizers were delicious, the entrees as well. The waiters were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. A great experience!

Wonderful food and ambience! We got all the vegan friendly food – sweet potato tempura sushi, noodle salad and sweet potato curry and all were fantastic. I’m going to be thinking about that sweet potato sushi for a while. Extra bonus that their espresso martini ACTUALLY has espresso in it! Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Red Ginger! We were pleasantly surprised with how much we enjoyed the minced chicken lettuce wraps (a great amount of flavor), both thoroughly enjoyed our sushi rolls, and we raved about the specialty honey biscoff cheesecake for the rest of the weekend.

Service was quick, kind, and exceeded expectations. Prices were very reasonable for a night out. Would definitely recommend!

We were on vacation and came here with friends who used to live locally and highly recommended it. The food was delicious, the service was very good and the ambiance was cool. We started with the Chinese Ribs, which were really good, edamame and Dragon Wings (which are unlike any wings we’ve seen anywhere else). I had the Lettuce Wraps as my dinner and there was plenty left over (for our friends to take home). Our friends had the Vietnamese Shaking Beef and Thai Chicken Curry, which they liked (and have had here before). My wife had the Asian Noodles which she liked. They have a nice bar selection, too.

Red Ginger is such a unique place with incredible, creative food you don’t find everywhere. The atmosphere and presentation really set it apart. If you’re in Traverse City, stop in and give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.
