I ordered lunch from Red Ginger at the suggestion of someone who has ordered there before. Both meals were a great disappointment.I am 78yrs. old and have been cooking for 60yrs. The chicken did not look or taste like chicken and the rest of the food was not fresh and tasted and looked like leftover,reheated food. I paid $31.00 for food with $10.00tip for delivery.(A waste of my money!!!!!)

Man, the food here is phenomenal! The Szechuan Chicken was actually spicy. The fish filet with ginger and scallions had chunks of ginger that were neither bitter nor pungent…perfectly tender and savory. Love getting takeout from here when we’re visiting family in Johnston.

This is only the second time I’ve eaten here. The Hot n Sout Soup is incredible! Spicy, but not too hot. I ordered the Chef’s special Triple Delight. Shrimp, Chicken, Beef. With white rice and a Mai Tai. All the veggies in the Kung Pao triple delight were Fresh. Hot and Crunchy. Some Chinese places over cook their vegetables so they’re too mushy. This restaurant has friendly servers, and is all about making you feel Welcome! 5 stars for me. Please check it out, don’t be discouraged by any if the negative reviews!!
