First the good; I was able negotiate with the bartender for a decent Mai Tai – I asked first becase many chinese places serve it very sweet which I detest. She listened and made a good one.
Next the bad; I noticed on the menu that they were serving several new items including several spicy (2 chili peppers!) szechuan style dishes. I ordered an salt and pepper calamari app and very standard “beef with spicy chili sauce”, both of which I’ve had in many other places. When I ordered I told the bartender to make it very spicy, which she said “are you sure?”. I said yes and even mentioned I liked mala pots and mapo tofu. She said okay.
The Calamari was tender but the fried coating was odd (soft) and the destinctive S&P spice was very faint. The beef was in large pieces and very chewy. The “spicy chili sauce” was instead a rather bland standard brown sauce. Not spicy not even a little.
Very disapointed.
The ugly; so not my first bland chinese food rodeo and I asked for some chili oil which was delivered shortly. Not only was it also bland (seriously, how can a chinese place screw up chili oil??) she also gave me a bottle of Tapatiohot sauce! (see photo).
I would have given 1 star but the service and Mai Tai’s were good so I padded it to two. Can’t speak as to the sushi but honestly would be frightened to try it there.

Ordered Kung pao chicken and it tasted great. Good portion as well. However the spice level when I ordered extra spicy was not enough. They have a spacious dining area.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Place was steady but not busy. Staff was thin but not to the point of problematic. Slight wait to be seated , short wait for check. Food was excellent and was priced in line with other places in the area. Fried rice was particularly good without overwhelming amounts of salt leike a lot of places. It also had a hint of smoke to it from the wok always a good thing. If sports and lottery are your thing there are a lot of large TVs over the very spacious bar and lottery screens for watching your plays.

Sorry but our take out meal on Christmas Eve was Not Good. Crispy Sesame Chicken was dry and not much flavor. Certainly not spicy!! Veggie LoMein had a couple of rock hard broccoli and zero flavor and dry along with the chicken. More than disappointed!! Not sure I will return.

Amazing ambience. Great food but i feel once food was microwaved that particular night during one visit. Freshly made is always better as everyone prefers it too 🙂

Chinese was fine. Ordered a special roll. It was embarrassing 10 bucks they gave me 5 small pieces and half the roll I ordered. It will make me go elsewhere for sure. Even marketbasket over this for sushi.

If you’re a sushi lover, this is the place to go. The all you can eat deal is amazing. I also ordered the chicken and shrimp with eggplant in garlic sauce and forgot to take a picture – ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, a must try. Service wasn’t all that great but idc cause the food was just toooo good.

I have consistently enjoyed the many orders my family has placed here. They are fast and convenient. Stow is lucky to have this as our only Chinese/pan-Asian restaurant.
If you want spice, order the authentic Sezchuan style dishes and make sure to order rice with them. Their American style Chinese dishes are all as good as any other American Chinese options I have ever had. Their house specials are a favorite. Their crab rangoons hit the spot and are generous quantity for the cost.
Don’t use a delivery service for any restaurant in Stow or you will be disappointed. This is part of the Stow experience. Order pick up and you’ll be fine.
