This place was amazing. Has the cookies and cream milkshake and it was delicious. This is an amazing place to cheat on your diet. Very friendly staff. Amazing ice cream. Reasonable prices. In 2023 8$ for a milkshake is very reasonable. That and the fact that it was AMAZING! Love the fact that this appears to be a Christian business as well.

This place is darling! You walk in and it has a bakery case with fresh baked cookies, and an ice cream case with lots to choose from in flavors. There is a case with chocolate and truffles. Plus you can have lunch from a variety of sandwiches, soups, and salads. There is no soda fountain, which I was expecting from the look, you can only get bottled drinks from the refrigerator. They do have some gifts you can purchase. Also there is a seating area for dining. The place was clean unless you looked up and seen the ceiling fan. It was caked in black dust. The food was bland, no flavor, barely even salt and pepper to season. The lettuce on my chicken salad sandwich looked like it was fresher several days ago and I was hoping for something more with the potato soup. I thought it was a little pricey for half a sandwich, small bowl of soup and a bottled soda, which was over $13. If the quality was there it might have been worth the money. This place could become something awesome with a little bit of pizazz in the recipes and quality ingredients. The staff was great and helpful.

The banana pudding ice cream is exceptional. Red fox is a must-stop when passing nearby on 81. It’s on the cutest downtown pedestrian street that makes it the perfect pit stop.

Delicious ice cream. Soooo creamy. A good variety of flavors. We were passing through on 81 and wanted ice cream so randomly chose it. It is about 7 minutes from the freeway and we stayed longer than originally intended because we went back for more. A bit on the pricey side. They have some delicious looking cookies (we didn’t try the cookies). We did say that we may make the same detour on our next trip on I-81.

I had a half sandwich (BLT) and a cup of chili. The sandwich was very good. The chili was good but too many bell peppers for my taste. I also had a root beer spin (shake) that was very good. They make everything in house. I highly recommend you go here!

I remember these folks when they had a shop in middleburg….eons ago! It was insane good then and I bet its gotten even better. Not sure if it’s possible though. I always got egg salad on dark toast. It was SO GOOD. My hubby took our son in today and said it was really really good. I said well duh….yea …it’s always been the best ice cream around! I need to come by and get some too! I’m sure my 5 year old won’t mind coming in again lol!!!
