Overall very impressed. We went with a group for lunch. We ordered a mixture of small plates and pizzas. all of the small plates were very tasty and made for a nice variety. Would highly recommend if in the area.

Everyone there was great and helpful… the pizza just wasn’t good Everyone was sweet while I waited but the pizza was cold when I got it and the sauce had a unique flavor we didn’t like. The place is nice inside and has potential but the food needs work.

We really enjoy the atmosphere at the Red Door. Thursday night live acoustic music definitely made the dining experience even better. Our food was great. We had the gyro and the bottomless soup and salad. All the food was top-notch. The selection of beers had something for every beer lover. We will be back.

From the moment you walk in the door, the upscale atmosphere with a beautiful, warm, relaxed vibe will sweep you off your feet. Stop in for a cup of coffee, glass of wine, or a craft beer & listen to live low-key music every Wed. & Thur. Night. The staff & owner are on point. The food presentation & taste were amazing ! Had a delicious dinner tonight at The Red Door. We started with smoky Old Fashioneds which came out with wooden covers that released the wonderful wood smoke when removed. Perfect fall spirits to start the evening! We then enjoyed the bacon wrapped dates that were prepared perfectly. I ordered the gyro for my entree and it was tender and delicious! And because we had mentioned it was our anniversary when we made the reservation, we received a delightful baklava for dessert! Our server, Rachael was attentive and extremely helpful and made our dinner a wonderful experience. We’ll be back soon!

We were so happy to discover a restaurant in La Porte that reaches for innovative and tasty cuisine. As vegetarians, we found that there were several choices and the staff was accommodating. It’s the kind of restaurant you would expect to find in a bigger city. The cocktails are also unique and well prepared. It’s food worth talking about!

Could not tell you what the food is like because I could not get the attention of the staff. My wife and I walk in about 4:30 stood by the sign that said wait to be seated for about 4 minutes. The seating was about half full the two waitress where at the end of the bar in open I sight, one was on her phone and showing the other things on the phone. Not even once did they acknowledge us or ask us to please wait. We left and went to the Asian restaurant across the street and so far the meal and service has been great.

This restaurant was recommended by Open Table and we reserved a table. Had dinner with my wife on Valentine’s Day and it was very good. They had an acoustical guitarist playing, great ambience, fantastic food, and excellent service. We sat at the bar and Kim was our bartender. Came from South Bend. Worth the drive!
