The food is delicious and absolutely a 10/10. We ordered the classic breakfast, which came with delicious maple syrup waffle fries, which are a must try. They have the perfect amount of sweet and salty and the perfect crisp to soft center ratio. The meatball sandwich was perfect! Well seasoned with a generous amount of cheese. The bread was perfect too!
The french toast casserole was incredible. The fresh compote topped with a peice of mint tied everything together.
When ordering the macaroni and cheese that was the only thing I wasn’t a fan of. It was very runny and salty with loads of salt pockets within the dish. The pasta was too firm for my liking, but others might prefer it. Overall, I love the food, but not ideal for a family of 5. Would love to try them in warmer weather when outdoor seating is more comfortable.

Very good breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. The biscuits and gravy was very good. Soft/fluffy scratch biscuits with an Italian sausage gravy that was perfect. The chicken and waffle sliders were a mix of good and great. The waffle was good, wish it was sweeter and crispier, but still good. The bacon jam was a nice touch. Maple waffle fries, yes please! The star was the chicken strips, huge full of flavor with a great batter. More on the menu to try later and definitely worth the visit and follow up visits.

Went today for brunch and I had such a great experience here and felt compelled to leave a review after seeing one that didn’t match what I experienced at all.

I ordered the avocado toast, matcha, and the champagne flight, and everything was delicious.

The avocado toast was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and thoughtfully plated (not just slapped together like so many places do). You can tell the ingredients are high quality and intentionally chosen to all compliment each other! DELICIOUS!

The matcha was smooth and well-balanced, not overly sweet or bitter, which is honestly hard to find!
And the champagne flight? Such a fun and elevated touch!! Each selection was crisp and refreshing, making it perfect for a brunch or celebratory moment. Either way, it was top notch.

Beyond the food and drinks, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the care put into the menu really shows! Every restaurant has off days, but based on my visit (and every time I’ve been here), this place absolutely deserves its praise! I’ll definitely be back again soon and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed yet elevated dining experience!

A huge thank you from all of us at Rockwall, Global Women’s Empire! We absolutely loved coming out to support your local business and truly appreciated the incredible hospitality from start to finish. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was attentive, and the food was outstanding. He especially loved the restaurant and every dish he tried — you can really taste the care and passion that goes into your cooking. Experiences like this are exactly why supporting local businesses matters so much. We’re already looking forward to our next visit and can’t wait to come back again soon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and genuine hospitality!

Wow!! This is a true hidden gem in Fate that you must try! I ordered the Turkey Panini with waffle fries – blew my expectations away!! Those flavors together work wonders, the fries were perfectly seasoned, hot and crispy! Finished with a midday latte – no regrets at all. That’s gotta be one of the best lattes I’ve ever had! Smooth, robust and perfectly foamed. Everyone working here is so sweet and loves what they do – a rare thing to find at most chain restaurants. Support this local gem! I wanna go back and try more! Chef Michael is a master of his craft!

The food was incredible. I had the chicken and waffles, while my date had the biscuits and gravy.
Incredibly different spin on both dishes, both of which were expertly created. Very elevated.
(If you’re looking for some throw-down, country, “just like my grandma made it”, this is not that.
This is “I didn’t know sausage gravy could taste like this, and my mind is blown. “
It sounds silly to go on about the perfection to which the chicken tenders were seasoned and cooked. But I mean to tell you, I didn’t know chicken tenders could do what these ones did. (Firmness and juiciness of a perfectly broiled sirloin, the breading was immaculately seasoned, the waffles were so light and fluffy on the inside but still had a great bite. And who puts arugula on chicken and waffles? This place, and I’ll tell you what- it hit.)
I got a doppio espresso. It wasn’t the flavor profile I prefer, but the shots were well pulled, aromatic and flavorful.
The lattes and other espresso beverages I saw being served looked like they were AI generated to match the exact description of each one. (I definitely saw a human making them. She **knows** what she’s doing.)

I had the opportunity today to stop by Red Dirt Social with a group of friends. I had the French onion soup and the harvest salad. Both were absolutely delicious. Ingredients were fresh and perfectly balanced. The location and overall ambience of this establishment is super welcoming and contemporary. The owner Mike stopped by to talk to us and give a little bit of his story. It was obvious that he leads his team from a place of passion and perseverance. This is a fantastic stop for any of your breakfast or lunch needs. I apologize I forgot to photograph my food before I dug in, but you can see there was not much left

Red Dirt Social is one of those spots that feels like a hidden gem the second you walk in—equal parts breakfast + lunch hangout and coffee bar, with a chill, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. They’re based in Fate, TX, and it really shows in the best way: local, friendly, and proud of what they’re serving.

We went for the Italian panini and it was an instant favorite. It’s stacked with hot capocollo, genoa salami, pepperoni, plus red onions, kale, sliced tomatoes, banana peppers, and provolone, then finished with red wine vinaigrette + dijon mustard on sourdough bread. It’s bold, savory, a little tangy, and just super satisfying—exactly what you want when you’re craving something hearty but not boring.

And if you’re even thinking about ordering the Chicken & Donuts… do it. The combo is ridiculously good: buttermilk-soaked crispy chicken tenders with milk & white chocolate waffles, plus jalapeño maple bacon jam, a dusting of powdered sugar, and syrup on the side. Sweet, salty, crispy, and just the right amount of “treat yourself.”

One important heads-up: they’re a morning-to-afternoon place (open 7:00am–3:00pm Tuesday–Sunday, and closed Mondays)—so plan your visit accordingly.

Bottom line: great food, great atmosphere, and absolutely worth the stop.

My family went here to eat for Sunday brunch after church. My husband and I both ordered the Monte Cristo Sandwhiches with waffle fries and my daughter had the chicken and waffles. I also ordered a Carmel machiatto iced. All of us enjoyed our food and the iced coffee was really good. The atmosphere was very loud and hard to hear one another. They were very busy at thr time we went. We sat st thr bar because there was no available seating for all 3 of us. It is nice establishment just very loud. I dint recommend going on Sunday afternoons. Otherwise great place to go to.
