With construction going on a Chesterfield Mall, you need to weave your way through the parking lot of a Mexican restaurant to get to Red Chili. I ordered the butter chicken and it comes with basmati rice. I also ordered the garlic naan. The server asked my spice level preference and I said mild. The butter chicken is packed with flavor. The spice level was a little too much for me. The chicken was very tender and tasty. The basmati rice was so light and fluffy. The garlic naan was soft and delicious. We received excellent service. The restaurant just had a few customers so the energy level was very low and calm.

I can say the service is not so good, but the place and ambiance is sooo good and I still want to visit again. I have almost visited this place 3 times now.
The first time it was crazy good and the food was really nice.
The second time I faced a lot of issues with the naans and the food was not up to the mark.
The third time they said there was a waiting period of 50 mins and told us to choose another restaurant, so we left.
Service definitely needs improvement.
They do have buffet only on Saturday and Sunday and it’s good.
Overall, good ambiance, mixed food experience, bad service, but still worth a try if they improve

We originally planned to eat at Black Salt, but since it was closed, we decided to give Red Chili a try. The first thing that caught our attention was the ambience — beautifully decorated, very clean, and had a warm, inviting vibe that made us feel instantly comfortable.
We started with Samosa and Spinach Chaat for appetizers. The samosas were decent — crisp and flavorful, but nothing particularly memorable. The spinach chaat, however, was a bit disappointing. It didn’t taste freshly made; the spinach fritters seemed like they were prepared earlier and just topped with yogurt and chutneys before serving. Freshly fried spinach would’ve really elevated the dish.
For the main course, we ordered the Tandoori Platter, which turned out to be the highlight of the meal! Everything was well-seasoned, tender, and served fresh and hot.
Another minor downside was the bread, which felt a bit overpriced for what it was.

I have been there many times. Usually, I order dishes like butter paneer, butter chicken, and garlic naan. This time, however, I ordered a burger for the first time. It came with French fries, but you won’t believe how oily they were. As soon as I took a bite, it felt like my mouth was full of oil—the fries were extremely over-fried.
As for the burger, there was something clearly wrong with the tikki inside. It looked and tasted as if it had mold on it, which was absolutely disgusting. Wasted my $70 and ended up leaving everything on table without eating. I ordered some other things as well and it was disappointing that will never go again.

Really attractive very clean restaurant.
Waitress was perfectly attentive and very helpful.
Was there for the lunch buffet. If you get there at 11:30 it’s going to be very fresh.
Loved everything on the buffet.

Came in on a Saturday for an early dinner with my wife and we had a wonderful experience. All of the food was magical – I had the lamb shank (superb) and the Indian coffee (I recommend you ask for it). We shared the samosas and the Kashmiri naan (both incredible), and my wife had the butter chicken and litchi lemonade (she loved them). Our server, Drashti was a pleasure and took very good care of us, letting us choose the TV channel and a specific booth.
My only recommendation would be to put up a large sign on the Chesterfield Blvd side – we have driven by a couple times before and didn’t know there was anything there, especially such a fantastic restaurant.
While the mall has ongoing construction, you can enter through the neighboring restaurant’s parking lot.
If you love Indian cuisine like we do, with all the best spices and a hot-level you can choose, we would absolutely recommend Red Chili Indian. Compliments to the chef!

Horrible experience y’day night while picking up my uber order, reached around 20 minutes after placing order, lady 1 told to wait as order is “almost” ready, over 10 minutes later lady2 comes and asks what I’m waiting for, checks around and says order was never received, going back and forth for another 10 minutes and then says my order is being made, obviously they missed the order (they agreed to make the order, cancellation for first order received instantly, second order received instantly), which is fine but the attitude and tone implied as if they are doing me a favor my making my order, another 30 minutes later (she said 10-15 minutes and when I requested to expedite she said she can’t “throw” other orders and make mine!!) guy1 comes and says order is cancelled by uber, i said l’m not sure (I was chatting to uber rep about the mess up but never asked to cancel) and he simply said “you want your food or no”, I wish it wasn’t late and they had said this when I came in and I would have walked out but it was past 10:30 and i had almost waited an hour and had no energy to hop to another place so just placed the order again with uber. He could have given me the same option but instead wanted to throw his attitude, horrible staff, no hospitality, act as if they are doing a favor and giving free meal, but again what more to expect from ill trained staff and owners who just want to pick up cheapest “cash” workers to get their job done

It is so sad that this gorgeous restaurant with fantastic food is such a secret. I have eaten there and had take out several times and it is always delicious. Tonight – Lamb Seek Kebabs with Garlic Naan and a crazy delicious mint sauce. The bar is stunning and large TVs have sports going. The cuisine is Indian, but the portions are American – “I dare you to finish it.” Access looks bleak next to the demolished Chesterfield Mall, but your persistence will be rewarded. I only gave 4 stars for Atmosphere because I ended up the only diner at 6:45 on a Thursday.

I’ve had Indian food all over the country, and nothing comes close to this place. The food is incredibly authentic—rich flavors, perfect spice levels, and everything tastes freshly made. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special nights out. Prices are surprisingly affordable for the quality you get, which makes it even better.
