very cool place to visit- highly recommended! Must try the Cuban sandwich! The staff who took care of us (?Marta, Margarette, unsure) very kind and proficient. She did great answering my questions about the menu, and since we had not been here before even took the time to tell us about specials that were coming up and invite us to visit again soon. We enjoyed our visit very much..

Came for lunch during the week. Fairly busy (no wait) for a Tuesday, definitely some regulars coming through which is always good to see. Ordered the chicken sandwich on their special bread. Fries were good, cooked in clean oil. Overall meal and expeirence was good albeit nothing special. Local tap beers on the menu makes for a unique experience, ambiance and overall theme adds value and identity to Old Torrance. Plenty of parking on-site and free street parking is a plus.

This is far from the average pub grub experience. The beer is excellent, but more importantly the food and the service are exceptional. I met one of the owners today, and their care for their customers, employees and the standards they set for their food and service are on full display. I had the skirt steak with chimichurri for lunch paired with their South Bay IPA. Both were wonderful. Do yourself a favor and give Red Car a try.

We tried four different dishes and they were quite good. I especially liked their burger, pizza and tuna salad. The fries, however, need some improvement. The fries were soggy and the wings were not crispy. Overall, the beers and foods were great and satisfactory.

The food was delicious and Lauren was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We ordered the Big Red, an Iced Tea, Onion Rings, the Ale Battered Pickle Slabs, the Pacific Electric Deluxe Pizza, and the el Diablo Chicken Sandwich with a cup of the soup of the day – the Gnocchi Potato Soup. Their sauces are made in house. Everything was delicious!

every time i decide to go to Red Car, I change my mind, due to remembering that the cooks argue really loudly in Spanish next to people eating (like one in the eating area and the other one doing the work in the back left area). the food is great, the owners are great, the servers are great… just the cooks are off the hooks! in a bad way… please encourage me to come back and try it again by telling me that the cooks will stop arguing so much and so loudly.

Had a great meal with a group of friends here today. We had a group of about 30 with a bit of a classic car show before the meal.

Restaurant staff were fantastic, food was too notch! I had a traditional fish and chips and they served it with a bottle of malt vinegar on the side. That’s how it should be and I was impressed!

The food was great, entire group orders taken and served quickly with no short cuts, everything was prepared properly and tasted great. Drinks were continually topped off and servers were a cheerful happy bunch.

We were made to feel welcome and we enjoyed the whole experience.

Good local brewery. Our server was very nice, but a bit shy; nevertheless, she was great the whole night. Their porter beer was really good. It had amazing coffee notes! Overall great body. We had Irish nachos, and a Bavarian pretzel… great simple appetizer to accompany good beer.

Friendly staff. We were greeted and seated right away. Clean dinning ares and restrooms. My wife had the chicken pasta with dried tomatoes and spinach. I had the pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, and onion. The pizza tasted fresh, nothing was frozen and it was cooked in a wood fired oven. They have a great selection of beers. I just wish they had the porter. This a great place to dine in a nice spot in old Torrance. I highly recommend this place.
