Very good Chinese food place located in the Monroe Mall on 74E.
Beef and broccoli, Orange Chicken, Crab rangoon and Won Ton soup are all favorites.
Sushi is pretty good too, but not
as good as the Chinese food selections.
The restaurant is always clean and has friendly staff at the to go desk.

Haven’t ate here in a while since the food wasn’t as impressive as some other places but decided to get take-out today & got the lunch portion of Sesame Chicken & it was really good! Just the right portion with an egg roll to go with it. I would order from here again.

There was horrible service. The staff was rude and inconsiderate. Charged a gratuity of 25% for out table when asked to take it off they refused, even tho they did not deserve that kind of tip. Waitress spilled soy sauce all over a person in our party. Slow as all get out for service and we was only people in restaurant. The food quality was poor and not worth the cost they want for it. I have nothing good to say about this place, except you need better waitress and better customer service and may need to check your attitudes at the door because customer service matter whether you believe so or not. Also if you want eat there make sure you are in parties of 4 or less otherwise they try to screw you and add that 25% tip on… ridiculous

If you want to get a lot of Chinese food, order from Red Bowl in Monroe. They offer big portions for a reasonable price. The menu has a huge variety of food to choose from when you order. We tried house fried rice, steamed dumplings, sesame chicken, and sweet&sour chicken. Everything was perfectly made.

The only decent Chinese food place to eat. I ordered it to go. Sat there waited got my order got up and left drove home and found out it was somebody else’s order went back walked in with the order and the girl behind the counter asked me if I touched anything like I was going to go in there and stick my hands into food I didn’t order which is absolutely asinine They gave me my order I came home again opened it up still not correct. They gave me something I didn’t even order. That place sucks, They hire cheap help the manager is more interested in flirting with all the girls that he hired The food if they got everything correct it wouldn’t be a problem but they never do. From now on I’ll drive to Matthews and eat at Mong fu.

Love coming here with the family and enjoying some good food. Our service is always top notch! Love their bento boxes cause it give you a good verity of different items including sushi ! If you haven’t tried it I would definitely recommend trying it

The food and service are good.
The entrance and dining room are in bad condition. Everything is sticky. The carpet, hard wood flooring, tables, and menus are all sticky. The air smells like ant or roach spray. The whole dining room and dish ware need an extreme update.

I ordered Pad Thai and noticed something hard, almost like a egg shell. I then found something that was stone shaped about 1/8″ in size. I found 2 more and then stopped eating and pointed it out to my waiter. He said that it was crystallized from the sauce and acted like it was completely normal. I didn’t eat any more. I’ve eaten Pad Thai many times and at several Red Bowls and have never had anything like this in my food before. This Red Bowl is now on my do not return list.
