Ordered the fish and shrimp plate, the fish was probably underbelly meat, was very small, and the batter was SUPER salty. Everything was over fried. Hushpuppies were very plain.

I haven’t had fried flounder w/boudin balls like that in a very long time. Unless I cook it myself. Definitely taste better when you can find an establishment where you can go and the food is pretty damn good.

Update: I brought my family to try the food out. One had their shrimp boil, and the other two had two different kinds of plate with drum. It was good. Warning, if you are planning to eat there, it is a small area and very warm inside. But the food was good! Great food! I got the special, 6 shrimp and fish. The shrimp were large size and in a mixture of cornmeal and flour type of breading. The fish was Drum fish in a cornmeal type of breading, nicely fried where the tips were crunchy but the fish was not over fried. The waffle fries could have been a little better and not just placed in the tray for the fish and shrimp to drain. Very professional way of ordering, given a restaurant beeper that vibrated when food was done. Only one man managing the front slipping behind the door to grab orders.

This place was surprisingly good. They open at 12n sharp no earlier. There were people standing in line to get in.. always a good sign… line moved swiftly. Place was so clean and organized. Seafood is very good and fresh. We went on Thursday for turkey Thursday but it wasn’t quite ready. The buzz on reviews says the turkey is the staple item here. Maybe next time. Pricing is decent, food is good, place is very clean. Impressive for sure. The guy at the window does a fine job, is well organized.

Man this has be top 5 place to eat some good seafood at and if it isn’t please tell me 5 spots better lol. The shrimp is my favorite item to eat. It’s so flavorful and crispy. Ordered two flounder and shrimp plates with a side of hush puppies. Everything came out great. The dining room was nice and comfortable. My wife is extra picky about her fried fish she normally doesn’t care for it but she was satisfied with her flounder and shrimp as was I. Reasonable prices and good food we will be coming back.

Moved here eight months ago, found this place on Leopard, was surprised how good it was, he has a great recipe. Wish him luck on his business, with good food like that he doesn’t need luck. Only minor complaint is the time to get your food, gotta work on a faster routine, I’ve know restaurants to fail due to the long time customers had to wait for their orders. Hope he gets that part figured out, and if he does it’s gonna blow up. Great place

My shrimp was the favorite part! Tarter sauce was delicious. Was expecting waffle fries but maybe they changed their fries. Corn was a little bland and dry but I would definitely go back and explore the menu. Oh and I LOVED the rolls!
