If you prefer dark and strong coffee ☕️ don’t pass by this establishment – my heart races upon first sip. Close to the ocean on West Grande in Grover Beach – this place is frequented by locals by week and all comers on weekends. Plenty of outside patio seating and an interesting (gluten-free) baked food menu with Paninis headlining the selection. Get your morning buzz on!

My wife said this was her BEST breakfast EVER. The food was timely, the service was VERY good, if not excellent. I liked the background music and the quiet atmosphere. Parking is on the street.

BEST COFFEE SPOT IN PISMO / AVILA /MORRO BAY / SLO AREA!!! Im a bit of a coffee snob, and Im very particular on my mochas & lattes. So when shops make their sauces in house, they generally are pretty good. And this shop does just that! Their mocha was delicious and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her seasonal latte. Their pastries were very tasty as well. We tried multiple other coffee shops in the surrounding area, but none could hold a candle to this place. Not to mention the baristas were super friendly and conversational. The owners happened to come in as well and were very kind and friendly. The vibe they have create in the shop as well is very cozy and welcoming. So if you are like me, and want the best of the best coffee, make sure to stop in here!

Cute decor and some nice mugs and stickers for sale but the bagged coffee was a bit pricey. It was busy, and we waited in line for a while (someone cut in front of us and the cashier walked away from us without saying anything once we got to the counter ). Obviously popular location but I was underwhelmed with the coffee and food that I bought. Clean bathroom!

Coffee is decent. The scones are not it tho, would not recommend. The employees all kind of have a chip on their shoulder. Definitely don’t have the best attitude for a gorgeous morning in Grover beach. If you are gonna get a coffee to go, make sure to bring a travel mug because the lids don’t fit. It’s a shame because the shop is in such a nice spot. Drive an extra five minutes down the road and you’ll probably have a better experience

Hands down the most scrumptious hot mocha I have ever enjoyed. Later today will order the iced latte and iced mocha and update my review. For those who quibble about coffee that doesn’t fill the cup, Red Bee is the place for you! The barista perfectly fills the cup to the brim, so I took a sip as I am prone to spilling foodstuffs on myself, usually on my favorite shirts and pants, and that initial sip tasted like manna from heaven. Wow. Yummy.
Update after tasting the Iced Mocha: remember when Joseph Campbell said that the best things cannot be spoken bc there are no words to describe them? That’s how I felt as I savored the Iced Mocha. This exquisite concoction was perfect according to my subjective tastebuds. In fact, every road trip within 50 miles of Grover Beach will find me at Red Bee Coffee, unless they can be persuaded to open a store in Palm Springs, CA. I will happily work for them.

This place has definitely gone downhill over the years. But today it had a all-time low. I understand that all businesses have the right to review service to customers, but to refuse service to customers because you were there the day before and sending Snapchat. Now they’re accusing you of recording their staff.

Extremely rude young female took our order and acted like she was doing us a favor taking our money for what turned out to be very mediocre espresso drinks. Definitely will not be returning as there are many coffee options in the area that appreciate our business.

Awesome little shop. I needed a mid-day coffee to wake me up from the calming beach and stopped here. My vanilla latte was really good and the chocolate chip cookies are delicious. You can tell they’re fresh and homemade. Will definitely make another stop back here. 4.9/5.
