Best pizza in San Leandro without doubt. It starts with a perfectly pillowy crust that elevates everything that’s put on top (he’s even playing with some finishing salts to really knock it out of the park). Have had the Orchard and the Smokehouse and I can attest that the balance of savory, sweet and heat is really dialed in on both of those. Lastly, the cheesy garlic bread is so good that my wife and I always eat more of it than we mean to while the pizza finishes cooking. Great assortment of beverages in the cooler, and a really friendly proprietor that loves to talk shop about his creations (or the Warriors, if they’re playing). Will keep coming here for my pizza, for sure.

Ordered cheese pizza for my son’s daycare and it was a big hit, the kids loved it. I’ve also tried the combination and Hawaiian and both were delicious. Yummy crust, not too thick. The owner is awesome and it’s great to support a local business so will definitely be back.

Glad to know that Red Apple has reopened after a 2 month closure. I’m more than happy to support a honest family business during a time like this. I have eaten many pizzas with the old owner, 1st time trying with the new guy. The wings are heavily breaded and a lil sweet. Pizza dough is different and not enough cheese, and ordered extra. I’m gonna look for a new place.
